[jogless] jogging and motivation thread​


So i am jogless already. And going to use the extra time to get healthier.

Plans to jog at least 4-5times week.
Each at least 4.5km.

Can edmwer bros and sis come in motivate me and together fulfil your new year resolutions.

To put words to action so everyday i will post here to track (at least until CNY or get new jog) my joggings.

Those who want to join me also are welcome!

Rem to use the 365 apps. The device is a pusher to make sure one to hit the min daily goal

If chiu not aiming for time, chiu should be doing 10km by 4th week if jog daily

u damn solid wey u

i am in more or less the same predicament
just finish with ex company after 4 years
so now is 量马路。

think doing the regular morning walk/exercise lor
if nt will go nuts
but i tuesday morning go take the bivalent jab to get it done and dusted.

maybe just improve my ippt timing abit see can get incentive or not

Building back my breathing and stamina after wrecked by 2x Wuhan Virus.

4-5 times is a lot. Later knee cap gone. Just do yoga can already, no risk of cardiac arrest

If u long time no run . Don't push urself too hard if u above 30yr old

Your body may not tahan

I started jogging again during 2019 lockdown all the way till now

Last time I run 4 to 5 days a week, now after 2 to 3 years of torturing my body , body a bit break down need go chiropractor 2 times a month

but i heard to train 2.4km you need do HIIT, this one very shiong, i thinking if i want to mix some jogging and HIIT but i scared i uplorry. lol

now is just trying go for longer and more time since i have more time now.

Same idea as u, I trying to achieve the 2.4km by sprint and then slow jog, until I can comfortable achieve 2.4km below 10mins.

My suggestion for u is to do push up, abs exercise and squats, about 50 times each daily, in slow pace to feel the burn. This is to tone the muscle so that once the layer fats is gone, at least u got toned body.

Do the above and jogging combined.

EDIT: my plan for losing fat is to keep my heartbeat above 120bpm for a period of time, I achieve this by having a garmin smartwatch, so I will sprint about 100m, then slow walk/jog, as long the watch tell me I close to 120, I will start running again.
