there are many quality alternatives in China that offer more forefoot space in their shoes. Just search around and am pretty sure you can find one that fits you well and your save your pocket.

Anta c202 7 better try your size at the local anta boutique stores. From some user review, it tends to run small. Reason why it wasn't on my watch list this year. Their largest size 46 might be too small.

you have to try it and probably then understand why i am bullish on this pair of running shoes. Even the unplated Lining 赤兔9ultra felt good imo. Could compete well against 小鲶 in terms of performance, but price isn't looking too encouraging.
Saw on TB some retailers selling for 1279 now. About $250.

I doubt they will drop much since it's "new tech" and highly endorsed.

Maybe wait for next year. I like the funky grey and lime silver colourway. :D

newly launched just few days before 2025 Shanghai Marathon which was on 30th Nov. It won't go on sale so early. Wait for next year, maybe 双6 will see the start of discounted price for this new batch of running shoes.

this shoe has a good midsole, based on local Chinese reviews. If one has spare cash to try, this is one worth trying and for consideration. Too many good shoes to buy 🤣

https://mothership.sg/2025/12/standard-chartered-organisers-allegations-safety-lapses/

I think first year no sheares, incorporating gbtb, really many parts they can improve especially with regards to routes medical assistance can take.

"One participant, a doctor, said the ambulance took 30 minutes to arrive after a runner collapsed."
"One of them was performing CPR on the fallen man as he apparently had no pulse. The other runners eventually managed to revive the man's breathing and pulse, following a few cycles of CPR and an AED shock, but he apparently drifted in and out of consciousness."

Not privy to the exact details, can only hope that he is not really over 10 mins unconscious and zero pulse and/or respiration. (sometimes, brain damage starts from 8th minute even)

Don't dare to look at Taobao.

With 8 active shoes now, ignoring those in cold storage, I'm like 韦小宝, can't devote enough time to each pair. Feel bad for those underused.😂

I think the most important is ambulance arrival which if it's 30 minutes, i.e not acceptable. The location is at Bay east, like most PCN, accessibility of ambulance is a challenge, and the link to main road is usually not nearby. I have seen accident at Seng Kang PCN, the vehicle entrance to the PCN is usually far from accident site, and most people don't know where is the closet vehicle entrance. That's why I think SCSM should have a medical command centre that knows every vehicle entrances along the route and can direct the ambulance to the entry points and give direction from there on.

Article mentioned hypoglycemic for another case. This runner if diabetic, would have been rejected if he was truthful in the application. But if he is not, good chance he is not trained, body can't access glycogen as efficiently and he skipped pre run fueling as an untrained runner.

hideous on first look... but i must admit it is growing on me :ROFLMAO:
CNY shoes anyone?

No CNY theme design for me. I don't like loud colors.

One thing I notice, some models from Li Ning, QiaoDan or ANta, or any big shoes manufacturer, might have the winter edition. CNY falls in the winter. Winter edition tends to have thicker upper which is undesriable for hot and humid singapore. The QD Feiying PB 5 is one such model that have the winter edition. However the Plaid 2 doesn't have.

That Japanese suguru osako who recently broke the Japan NR just helped Li Ning sold hundreds of feidian elite 6. As for me, next year SCSM, it will be on my watch list. LOL.
putting aside the running shoe, Suguru Osako is really a top notch marathoner who clocked 2:58/km av pace in all his 10km splits. Consistent pacing at the very best.

a random question just popped up in my head.
to someone not trained. which is more dangerous/risky HM or FM?

me think (pure speculation not based on facts)
HM --> cardiac injury risk cos all run like hero cos they think distance is short just endure
FM --> heat related injury risk cos they know very long distance will not cheong.. but even brisk walking for 42k unconditioned under hot sun.. can get heat stroke.
