This might be the most angry I've been on screen....

Last month in Las Vegas, athletes competed in front of billionaires and fitness influencers, tried to break world records, and were not just allowed to take whatever drugs they wanted, they were celebrated for it.

In this video I break down what actually happened at the Enhanced Games, who's really behind it, and why — spoiler alert — it has nothing to do with the athletes or the records.

I also try to be fair and engage with the strongest arguments in favour of it, because some of them are not stupid. And then I explain why I still think they're wrong. This one is personal for me.

I'm a 2:25 marathon runner who has dedicated my entire adult life to getting to the Olympics clean. So when something threatens the integrity of the sport I love, I'm going to talk about it.

Congrats! You're so bloody fast! If only u did this in your prime fitness era!
haiz... if i had known earlier.. the durian tree will have been big already :ROFLMAO:

starting to think of next year's challenge.. TT based on 18K run, 2k swim? duration is much longer than I like thou. Maybe 10K run 1k swim? but that don't seem to be much of a challenge unless set very aggressive timing.

Recently can regularly find Feidian 6E going for 500+rmb on PDD. Last evening was offered this price for specifically blue colorway size 45(my size)

Thats like $100 gst inclusive. Irresistible price but i resisted. From looks of it, Feidian 7 series probably in the pipeline and releasing soon.

Do the run swim run with me haha. Annual event by trifactor. This year I did the standard distance. 5.25km run then 1km open water swim then 10.5km run

what's a respectable timing for this distance? only thing i don't like is the change over. I am anal about shoe lacing pressure and probably take 3x the time most people use to put on and lace up.

looking at the 1st position for 40+ age group. timing seems doable. I have never done open water swimming with distance before (never had the need to swim across johor straits to run-road :ROFLMAO: ). i wonderwhats the differential between swimming pool and open waters.
I go try out this distance next run-swim workout.

This year, I could have won the guy in the 40+ age group if I pushed for the second run but decided to take it easy haha. Last year I did the longer distance of 10.5 km run, 1.5km swim, 10.5km run

How's the vibe for the race? crowded?
We start later as they will do the run only first, my theory is that we cannot swim in the dark. Vibe wise, quite crowded at the starting line/ pen area with people cheering but along the route is just normal ecp with other cyclists/ runners. A few water points so not too bad.

did a 8k easy/recovery pace first run with some 200m sprints at the end in qinghong free this morning

it's a low stack shoe by modern standard but I won't categorise it as a race flat.
key takeaways:
- ultra light weight, low stack, very flexible with zero rocker
- it's is very cushioned to me and most folks should be able to use it as a daily trainer

compared to adios 9 (nit picking here. if you have not run in adios 9 before you won't miss much)
- QH free is better/more enjoyable at recovery/easy paces due to higher stack and better stability
- adios 9's turn over is faster and snappier and especially so at intervals pace
- adios 9 has better road feel. QH free' road feel is relatively muted due to less responsive foam and higher stack. Most folks will prefer the more muted road feel of QH free

great buy at 50sgd for generic colors. I got the 强风吹拂 red-blue colorway for just under 60sgd

Love the shoes. Comfortable and versatile to be used for more than running. I wear it for gym workouts and when i go for gai gai. Dont even need 50 bucks. Got my 2nd pair for slightly over $40.
