PB 4 is cheaper than PB3 for their intro sales . PB 3 was rmb 619 when they first release.

Last time 11.11 and 12.12 PB3 was 499 right?

Wondering if shd try PB4 play play. Seems like it's softer than PB3 (top part uses the PLAID foam), so more suitable.

Can't remember which one 11.11 or 12.12, was 469rmb lowest for PB3.

Intro sales is for those who must have the shoes upon release. I can wait till 6:18, even next year 12.12 too... During off season I usually run on non-plated shoes as these are still the type of shoes I am more naturally accustomed to, so my super shoes won't be as heavily utilized and hence can wait till 12.12.

Same. Now I am using Novablast for runs when I am free to run

i ran for an hour last night with the invincible 3. the experience was strangely good as it's my first. every step that i took felt very effortless and bouncy and i felt like i could go on forever at that pace. i only had to stop because it was getting really late.

it feels so different from the ultraboost when my steps feel very heavy and high impact.

same when i first run in adidas adios pro 3, super effortless. then when i first wore takumi sen 9, lagi better, faster than aap3. now am super happy with 乔丹飞影pb3.0 cos it gives the same feeling as the above 2 pairs but much more affordable.
enjoy your nike invincible 3

when I first picked up the Ultraboost and feels it weight at the store, already felt it to be a very clunky shoes. It's no wonder that not many runners wanted a pair for running.

Yeah I wore once and then sold on carousel. And also may be the reason Adidas launch an Ultraboost light

yeah i got the ultraboost for it's looks but i guess its not really meant for actual running.

i would like to get your thoughts from the laojiaos here.

i tried to stay in zone 2 (108-125) based on garmin HR zone for my run yesterday but i could only maintain that by brisk walking. it was boring so i gave up after 30mins and tried to do some actual slow running. my measured HR was around 140-150 (Z3/Z4) and the weird thing is that it felt like conversational pace still albeit feeling very slightly out of breathe. of course, it doesn't feel as easy as when i was brisk walking.

the problem is i don't really have the time to do 1 hour run like 3-5 times a week to build my aerobic base. i can only afford like 2 x 1 hour run weekly.

1. does it make sense to continue with this Z2 HR zone training or
2. should i just not bother about the above and just try to cover as much distance as possible while maintaining that conversational pace Z3/Z4?

i have always been interested in running but i'm at a life stage (building a family) now that doesn't allow me to allocate that much time.

Consistency more important. If running more shiok to maintain consistency than stick to running.
If limited time due to other commitments and you don't run a lot like avid runners, chances are you have ample recovery time in between. Don't have to follow simi training philosophy like 80/20, MAF, periodization..etc. For health, usually is to burn the most calories with your limited time. Go for the intensity that gives you the most distance within that given time. Mileage is directly proportional to calories burn.

If your HR intensity zoning by your Garmin is the default settings, likely is not accurate.

Zone 5 for more than 6 minutes, and threshold HR for more than 17minutes. For a new runner this is pretty hard work.. If you feel this is not your max out, I say this zoning is wrong. PErsonally, I don't think I can hold a continuous HR above Zone 5 for more than 5 minutes.

Does your Garmin has a Lactate Threshold HR test (LTHR) ? The forerunner series should have it. If you are able to do a max out run for 30 minutes, you should be able to do this test. ?Using LTHR for zoning instate of the default Max HR (base on 220-HR) is a better gauge for zoning intensity.

You can do continuous run for 1 hours, is very good liao.

I only started actual running after 30mins as I was brisk walking to keep my HR low at 120.
The zone 5 was done towards the end. It was tiring but I didn't feel out of breathe or gasping for air.

My garmin forerunner 45 does not have LTHR test. it says on the website that a HR monitor is required.
I have tried doing my own 30mins max out run on track but the recorded metric in my garmin seems abit off. I can't seem to find the activity in my garmin anymore too.

However, i vaguely remember that my HR was hovering around 180 in the last 10mins.

Oh you're right, after i changed my HR zone based on % Lactate threshold. The HR zones jumped significantly!

Yes from my own experience, always start with consistent runs. I remember when I first started running, could only last 3km or so. Building stamina and consistency for now is better than zone training or following running programs
