I had the Pegasus 35. But for heavy sweater like me , this shoes soak up the sweat, and traps them inside the shoes.

But this version 39 looks alot breathable, so I think they may have improve on this aspect.
Yup, the 39 is noticeably better in terms of ventilation. The tiny holes at the sides facilitate more airflow.
Although my feet don't sweat at all.

Seems like very little changes in the look department from Takumi Sen 8 to 10.
This guy Ed Budd, is one of the reviewer i watch closely, mainly because he has the same foot size as me. So when comes to fitting, weight, comfort, I watch his video.

Yeah not sure why they could not improve any significant changes for 2 models already. But i guess they really are pressured to release 2 new iterations also, for the sake of it coz due liao

That's the affliction of those who are into long distance running. I think most of us tends to have a higher tolerance for physical 'pain' or suffering and hence sport of choice is long distance running. ALmost toxic for some to be abit of addiction amd detrimental for our injuries. After suffering a race, we will come back for more. Something alot of folks asked why we are so kum gong to pay to suffer.

SO have you recovered from you PF since you have more time to recover.
I did some electrostatic treatment at my podiatrist and did 2 weeks of rest that time to be cured

Yes, I am on the premium. Personally I find this suits me better than generic training plans from DAniels, Hansen or Pfitzinger. If you are like me, with mediocre talent for running, this might suit us better. Most generic training plan are just too tough for me.

But do take note, there this one test call Perceived Effort Run Assessment, don't do it too fast. DO it too fast, your future easy days and long runs will based on that perceived effort, and the training can get too hard.
From my experience, run with zone 2 HR during the Perceived Effort assessments.

When I started out with TrainASone 4 years back, I did my Perceived Effort Run at about zone 3 since it was rather easy and short test. When the programmed began to introduce back to back easy days and long s runs, I was assigned doing 18k to 25 km back to back at 5.30min pace for one week in the peaking phase of the training. Burnt out and gave up the programme. But I restart in 2023, and did my perceived effort assessment properly at zone 2, everything works well now for me.

Another thing to note, the training are 99% pace based. So I have a Coros foot pod, which give fairly good instant pace. Most GPS watch can't do instant pace well by itself. But I heard the Garmin 255/955 and newer models in the series can do this fairly well if all bands GPS are turned on. SO it's not easy to gauge your pace to match the assign pace with normal GPS watches (Garmin 245 or older). Previously without the foot pod, I used 1km lap pace to gauge, which also can work if your 'agar agar' is well calibrated. You can also set to 500m lap your watch, so you have a idea how fast you are going at shorter intervals.

You can do the programme base on HR too, since they also prescribe the HR intensity, but then things become too easy. The guide says the preference is to use pace base training.
i have just signed up for premium as well because i like its no brainer kinda training programme.

oh no, i just completed the 6min and 3.2km assessment at max effort. i did put some restrictions like 3 days run per week, 60mins max per training and no back-to-back speedwork due to my limited schedule.

yes i noticed that the pace tracking is kinda laggy during my run and i have to make adjustments. shall think about the foot pod idea but i'm not sure if it works with my garmin watch. i will do some research.

thanks for the tip!

6 min and 3.2 km assessment at max effort is correct. The AI need this to gauge for your fitness.

It is the 'Perceived Effort' assessment that need to be your really really easy day zone 2.

try to motivate myself with a plan lo.
partly its also because i've come across a lot of health scare from the people around me recently.
high cholesterol, heart bypass, heart stem etc etc.

that counts as another type of motivation too :ROFLMAO:

Looks like warm night coming. Today's run, drenched in sweat. Got to squeeze my singlet after run. But wind is still cooling

is it difficult to complete a half marathon under 2 hours?
that's about 5.40min/km pace, it feels very fast for my current state.
i intend to join one race end of year, maybe stanchart.

Long term goal = sub 2 at 5:40
Look at shorter term goal, like 10k, can hit low 50s min? i.e 53 min and under?

You can set theses goals like the 10km into trainasone and set the date you want to race (2XU or other race), or do time trial in stadium. Allow preferably 12 to 17 weeks of training. Also can set another 21km goal(2XU, AHM, Income ECO run) goal as your 'A' race (primary race in TrainASone).

This guy back in the news again. Leopard cannot change their spot. After serving time, and given chance to be a trainer, he is at it again. I believe @Deadmaninc75 had bad experience with him a few years back.

So take note if you guys looking for a trainer. See this name, siam far far away.
