Yes I joined the JPMCC. It's a clusterfk. I joined again but I'm too honest in my timing. I expect to be clusterfk again.

If coy sponsored is fine.

One way not to clusterfk is to get in the front pack. Then the elite typebetter runs can chiong, for you midpack just maintain behind the elite type pack. Unlikely the casual or weekend warrior runners can overtake you.

Just elbow your way through. Mian paiseh about face. :ROFLMAO:

No track mode, just normal run in Hougang stadium. Garmin 935

Track mode with Coros Pace 3,
Coros pace 3 can play music right? I mean built in storage and then stream to bluetooth device (Speaker/earphones)
How many GB? My 4GB GT Runner already full. o_O Coz i use 192kbps mp3 and the tracks are like 1-2 hrs type. Only if it is 8GB, then perfect. I mean, storage how much only.

I think @coolhead ran it last year, seems like quite a lot of ppl join the run

Garmin might be a good purchase compared to the Amazfit because of the GPS. Thinking which model is the best, looking at Garmin forerunner 45, 55, 245 also, since my budget <$200 for the watch.

I am thinking of garmin forerunner 45, seems like the cheapest and the gps works well
Guess I am the oldest among the colleagues..

According to specs, yes , Coros 3 has 4gb of space for mp3. Same capacity as your GT. Runner. This is one feature I have yet to use coz I don't listen to music when I run.
Btw, do you bring out your phone when exercise? Coz got phone than don't need music playing on watch, as most watches can do simple play control with phone.

Yeah that is why, i dont bring phone out for running and not even for cycling........not sure why got this habit. Even though my bike has a rear bag which i can put. But i just bring my wallet.
I have this wierd habit of controlling the music tracks on my watch.

Actually it is only coz nowadays i ride to the place where i'll be running at then am i bringing my wallet out.
If not wallet also won't bring out.

Lol I slow run 5.21 still HR 134 but then I buibui hahaha. Maybe cycling is helping you a lot :)
When I was a competitive swimmer, I actually trained longer than running. Each session was about 5km, 2-3 hours of training.

Then in jc, I switched to competitive running. In the school distance run (4-5km+), I was 13th in the first year. Joined cross country, became the 2nd fastest runner in the team. But ended up 7th in the second year.

The fastest runner in the team was my captain, who ended up 2nd in the school distance run. He lost to a soccer player.

I rationalise the reason why runners tend to be behind other sports people is their training routine. Soccer players will usually run a couple of laps as warm up and then do practice matches. Usually, their training is around 3 hrs +. Running very rarely go beyond 2 hrs.

As for swimming/cycling, both are more low-impact than running, so the volume of training is usually higher than running.

I think my running stamina also comes from competitive swimming from sec school until Jc. Definitely each session was long. 2 hours at least 80-120 laps.

only really started running proper 2 years ago but all the while though I bui bui could run.
