Couldn't say it better than Coach Parry and his team on zone 2 training. He say keep it pyramidal,, Majority in zone 2, some in tempo, some in high intensity session. Preferred method of zoning, use Threshold HR or pace. Else just use RPE.

Already hoot almost 300km of running this month and could possibly hit over 3,000 ~ 3,300km mileage for this year. Going to take a short break from running this weekend and start executing a training plan for SCSM this year. :s8:
Some weeks, you ran everyday,..

I will do 3000 - 3250km next year. This year hopefully 2500+km.
can running form be consider even if I am running but even slower than walking pace? like just shuffling the feet.

If you want, can run in zone 3. Was running with a friend who is going to pace Garmin Run HM 2.15 group. When I met her and ran together, I slowed down to conversational pace. HR naturally dropped. Still a very comfortable pace to run.

I do pyramidal, but not always easy to execute. Very easy to end up doing too much high intensity/tempo and end up getting injured, especially for junior runners.

Shall take a look at asics, but dropping ~$150 for a shoe every 7-8months very heartache. :frown:

Currently using pegasus 38 that i bought on sale in Jan at slightly <100.
buy quality running shoes that are more affordable from China brands or previous generation ones from Western and Japanese brands.

A bit old news, last weekend.

RIP
Same age as me somemore.
Another 24-yr old pedestrian conveyed to hospital unconscious

"My father's cause of death was multiple injuries. Based on the location of my father's bicycle and personal belongings that my mother saw, we speculate that my father was most likely hit while crossing the road at the traffic light, and even the iron basket of the bicycle was broken. I believe the impact was strong, and the glasses were missing from the personal belongings that were retrieved."

The husband and wife went to work one after another. The husband was in a traffic accident while riding a bicycle and was sent to the hospital. The wife was shocked to see that the bicycle was missing. She called to find her husband and learned that his condition was critical. Unexpectedly, she could not see him for the last time.

The fatal accident occurred at 6:35 am on Tuesday (June 11) at the section of Woodlands Avenue 9 to Woodlands Avenue 10, near Block 780B.

The deceased was 53-year-old Wang Baohai. He and his wife were both employees of First Food Factory Co., Ltd. and had two daughters and one son.

The eldest daughter of the deceased, Wang Jingyi (28 years old, interior designer), said in an interview at the funeral home on Friday (14th) that her parents worked in the same factory and they usually rode bicycles to work in the factory on Senoko Road.

She said that the accident site was about 10 minutes away from her home and her father usually left home an hour earlier than her mother.

"The mother went out at about 8am that day. When she passed the accident site, she found a bicycle that looked like her father's lying on the roadside. Then she saw the broken bicycle basket, and there were kettles and cups next to it. She thought it was not good, so she hurriedly called her father. The hospital staff answered the phone and said that her father was in critical condition."

In a panic, the mother called her daughter to inform her, and then the two rushed to the hospital together. However, before they arrived at the hospital, they received a notice that their father had passed away. "My father would kiss my mother before going out every day and tell her to meet at work. I didn't expect that he would never see her again this time..."

When asked, the Civil Defence Force confirmed that the Civil Defence Force received the notice at 6:35am that day and the two were sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

24-year-old female passerby was sent to the hospital unconscious
Another 24-year-old female passerby was sent to the hospital unconscious, and the lorry driver was arrested.

When asked, the police pointed out that the accident involved a lorry, a cyclist and a passerby. The 24-year-old female passerby and the 53-year-old cyclist were both unconscious and sent to the hospital, and the cyclist died after being sent to the hospital. The 69-year-old male lorry driver was arrested on charges of dangerous driving causing death, and the police are still investigating.

Wang Jingyi said that according to her mother, a lorry was seen parked at the scene, and two police officers were investigating. In addition to her father's shoes that were thrown away, another pair of shoes was seen, believed to be from another passerby.

Amazon got got offer for Puma DN2. Can take a look. Pretty decent trainier and also can run for not so serious races, parkruns.

Issue is need to go shop to confirm sizes. Coz the US sizes a bit off vs other brands, ie you wear EU44 for ASICS, it's actually a EU43 for Puma. But ASICS US10 is Puma US10. Their conversion is a bit wierd one.

This is wide version, so no issue. The normal version some people might have isssue if got wide feet.

It's a very good shoe, superb wet grip......actually not only superb but it's the best out there already, nothnig is better than Pumagrip (the Elite line uses a slightly different rubber outsole compound that is harder, i dont feel the elite's Puma grip same wet grip)

The upper material is not those racing shoe mesh type, will absorb a bit of water, so super sweaters might not like this. But some folks do not like those plasticky synth mesh stuff also coz not as comfy, so it works both ways, see what you want.

Tonight can hoot.
Tomorrow morning after the morning rain also can hoot.
yeah tonight can go run 15-16km long run liao, good weather

Thinking whether to go for Race for Good 21.5km or not, $50, timing not bad (8am race). Only downside is 2 weeks after my 5k race.

If I go for it, can 100% run a legit HM and probably PB. :ROFLMAO:

Get the wide version, unless if you know that your feet is skinny type (eg like me). Anyway i posted the link is wide ver for 1 link and normal for the other. Black ver is ubiquitous, not for those aiming for flashy stuff (eg me) but good for normal pax. I am wearing it now, it's 100% ok and actually recommended not to go wide if you know you are skinny.

But my wife has the normal and not wide DN2 and must loosen the laces all the way before she can fit it in. End up dont wear often.

My 2 parents no issue with their normal non-wide DN2. 25k steps daily also no issue no blisters.
