better late than never...Lchlcl and Jermey1 good to have major transformation.
I also looking forward to retirement as far as engaging in personal activities are concerned. Have 1 other hobby that i play other than exercising.
Unfortunately i dont look forward in reaching even entry-level financial independence so that i can retire. So dont even know if 5 or even 9 years can retire. Probably see me next time doing grabfood or something since like cycling so much.![]()
See, now going out liao.
So it's a problem is last time we had kid rather late, about 10 years then planned to have kids.
Having kids usually mean that the parents stop spending frivolously coz of the commitment (in a way lah, i know quite a few just continue anyhow spend)

Got anyone here tried the top 3 most talk about shoe on the internet - Saucony Triumph, Endorphin Speed and Superblast? Keep hearing people talk like they are the best on the planet. But are they really like that? I thought running shoe is a subjective thing.

I only tried the Endorphin Speed 3.
As what people said it's good but to me I find it a bit firm.
Without trying in my mind I already like the Skyward X. High stack, carbon plate and it's Hoka confirm will buy. Will have to wait for discount however.I only tried the Endorphin Speed 3.

I don't really like it. It remind me of the adidas boston 12 but then the boston 12 cushioning is even worse than the Endorphin Speed 3. I don't know why people said so good about them.
I think my leg cfm pain after running on them.
I quite like the Skyward X, very solid support and stable but this shoes if go for HM will be banned for elite runner
The Ceilo X also good but it's more aggressive so some runners might not like it.

I had 15% discount but then will wait for the NB SC Trainer V3 which will be releasing in August![]()

Too bad, the Skyward X colour is![]()
Wow thanks for sharing!Jeremy1 is correct, for those into softness.
I had the Triump 20 for 3 weeks, got from Amazon US, heng is AMZ so can easy return.
Powerrun+ foam. Too firm even though solid stack height. Only the rear is entry level bouncy enough coz solid stack there. Energy return bounce is good though. But i am not a heel striker so useless......but if i use it for racewalking then can. However, for racewalking, high stack height is a negative.
(I only use DN2 and New Balance Rebel 3 for racewalking).
Then I also have the Speed 3 and Pro 3, Powerrun PB foam. Is ok for this, nowhere the softest out there, so.....just ok for me.
Pro 4 has a top slab of Powerun HG, you gotta test it out. They said overall could be same softness as the SC Elite 4 so can try it out. SC Elite 4 is soft enough for me.
Same sentiments for Speed 3.I only tried the Endorphin Speed 3.

Same sentiments for Speed 3.
Cushion 7/10
Energy return 7.5/10
- Good rocker system
- Suitable for people who like a firmer push-off.
I prefer using it for fast runs.
True in a sense but my cardio limited. Fast 5k at best.Swear by that stranger who told me he love the speed 3 so much that the longer you run, the faster you go.

Wow thanks for sharing!
Heng I passed on Triump 20. Looks like BS marketing by Saucony.
There were 2 reviewers hinted/mentioned the forefoot too firm. And i agree.
Other review channels bo bian, need to survive.
But then of coz some folks might like such feeling one. But for me i like soft + sufficient bounce, of coz.
Coz for me i am STILL after all a recreational runner (maybe performance oriented) and not pro or 100% all out results.
