Heng i easier pref....... for me i ok with soft all the way. :ROFLMAO: (y) So hoot all the soft stuff ok liao.

But must be careful........i rolled 2X in my PLAID already but no ankle injury, quite dangerous when cornering at higher speeds.

Looks like Pro 4 firmer than Pro 3. Which i already find a bit firm for me.

luckily i didn't buy PLAID, it will be too soft for my weak right ankle. NB rebel v4 also tends to give me issues after the run as well due to its softness.
I like Endorphin Pro 3 firmness (not overly soft nor firm).

But my right tight strain n left toes kind of skin bloated (below) but no pain. Also walking fast at the long stretch of rocky terrain with tons of small bricks n stones n very uneven path....

I got a hobby pal who does this kinda hiking and mini rock climbing. Once slipped and deep gash requiring 28 stitches. Must be careful coz always slippery with the weather here.

have a good rest and you may want to consider wearing tights on your thighs to minimize muscle strains on them. Do more stretches as well.
if you are walking/running much on uneven terrains, do consider having trail shoes instead of road/track shoes for better protection.

Yes, bro.
Thanks for your concern.

Yes I overheard one of the walkers talk about shoes.

Saying using running or walking shoes to walk on such terrains is a no no.

Cos the sole will be damage!

I was in front of them , oh no, I scare it really slice my sole especially those sharp stones smd bricks edge.

Also, I can feel the stones n bricks when I stop onto it...

Many times, my legs were nearly sprained due to very uneven ground.

yah, do protect yourself and if you tend to sprain due to uneven ground, do wear protective gears.

my right ankle was saved by my army boots when i twisted my ankle and rolled off the cliff during army training. I could have a broken ankle without the army boots.

yes, i use them when temperature below 20degC. now hardly touch them since the weather has become humid & wet and summer is arriving real soon.
Since my right ankle been twisted 2 weeks back, haven't done much running as it has been raining often. Shoes collecting dust! :ROFLMAO: this week must find opportunities to get back to running in between rain periods
May I suggest you rotate in a motion control shoes for protection during your long runs. Assuming you run 3 days a week. YOu can maintain the neutral shoes on easy days to train up the muscles needed to support ankle mobility. When you feel pain in long run even with motion control shoes, than you stop and rest. next week regress to a shorter distance and progress in mileage from there.
When you feel ready , you can try changing back to neutral shoes for that long run and rotate that motion control shoes into one of the easy day. After that slowly ween off that motion control shoes to be 100% neutral shoes.

I had ankle pain when I first ran with Vaporfly next%2. Stop running in the VP fly for a couple of months than slowly rotate into easy days, and progress in mileage to long run. Finally can run FM without issue.

I am avoiding the following shoes when i do my runs, regardless of distance and pace at the moment
- NB Fuelcell Rebel v4
- PUMA DN2
- ADIDAS AP3
BMAI必迈, BROOKS, 乔丹, SAUCONY, XTEP特步 are generally fine for me.

My main issue is not so much about stability/motion control. It's the Talus area, when midsole is too soft, i will feel the Tibia sinks downwards which makes my ankle feel super uncomfortable. Hence, only firmer midsoles are suitable for me. I don't really know how to explain it better at the moment.
Ankle stability issue due to sprains can be protected via ankle guard. But i do suspect due to weaker tendons and ligaments around my ankle after sprain, softer midsole allows more impact between horizontal and vertical part of my ankle.

On this topic......

This early morning around 6am+, i finished my workout liao. Another cyclist beat the red light right in front of a bus around 50m away on Shenton Way, bus horned. On Shenton way, i then turned onto Maxwell Rd same road as him and caught up to him coz red light in front of Capital Twr.

I nearly wanted to go up to him and ask "eh dey, be careful, you didnt see ah". "And btw your lights really too dim, and please do not beat the red light, rules are there for a reason". Luckily the bus was still a bit of a distance away and driivng very defensively (slowly) coz i was like at his 4 o'clock and he was just a little quicker than me, ie not speeding at all.

Very minimal lights, is can see, but for that kind of small target + dark clothings, it's best to be at the very least as bright as car tailights and headlights.

Most folks do not realise until accident. Coz they cannot "see themselves" one, is normal thinking...need a fair bit of thoughts to be defensive one.
