He ran comfortably at the back so that he can unleash his final 400m kick. After all, for his last olympics 10k, he lost to Barega because he got outkicked. Also, a lot of people wasn't expecting him to do well since he didn't run fast times in 2024. Takes the pressure off him to perform at his best.

Definitely, if you run TT in warm settings, at least you know this is the worst you can really perform. It gives more confidence to run faster when it's cooler. I am not too affected by it as long as I tried my best and executed my pace strategy for the distance, even though it might not be PB.

Happy for the 2nd runner, since he got 4th in the last olympics. This time round, managed to secure 2nd.
Amazing that 13 runners broke the OR in this one race.

I rewatched the video again. He sprung from 7th place to 2nd place in about 10 seconds.
This year, most of the runners performed extremely well. Even those 27++ min runners will be lapped by at least 13 runners.

After 26min where the excitement begins. One of the runner final surge to cut a few runners to make it 2nd.
Whole bunch of runners make it sub 27.

Moral of the story, pros really need to do their SIT and more of the more extreme sprint based strength training or something? The fast twitch really still accounts for something tactically, when your slow twitch already maxxed out.

Coz 2nd place really ai wan, the american, beaten by 0.02s only coz the Ethiopian got secret NOS other than VTEC and turbo.

Regardless i wanna watch the girls....... Sifan and Faith. Sure fireworks.
And 100 and 1500 (Josh Kerr vs Ingebrigtsen) of coz.

7th to 2nd place in 10 secs among the 26++min runners... This is quite a incredible feat. Which means if he had played his strategy better as in when to execute his surge, catching up to the Cheptegai might be a possibility to snatch that gold.

Ya wanna watch Sifan, coz she will do 10k and then FM. Can she be in top form for FM?

Came across this. Actually i'd agree. Really gotta take care of the 4 main macros first and foremost.
He makes sense. Recovery optimally, you hoot harder for your next session. And if your week is 6 or even 7 days, this is even more crucial.

1. Sleep
2. Nutrition (diet)
3. Rest (rest days, maybe deloading week etc)
4. Rehydration after the session

Seems like ice water immersion is ranked pretty high, i might just try for the lower body. Since Lucy Charles Barclay and some others like the Niellsen twins Liviai and Lina also doing regularly.

That one is to sound good and professional. Remco was also in TDF.

Of coz we can never be sure unless if we are Tadej himself.......but the Olympics event (relatively/comparatively flat) is like a parkrun to us, or at most a 10k. These people are absolute monsters, esp Tadej.
