Kenyan little kids are fast. According to this insta, 3:15min/km

Rural Indon kids also fast. (but the bigger cities also beginning to suffer from overweight and even obesity)

These fellas gun daily one....and year after year. And play other things, football, river longkang.....small town rural place so either run / walk or cycle. No such thing as MRT or public bus. How not to be fit / fast when you are playing and enjoying and most prob > 10k mileage daily?

Keep it up man. Your pace is crazy fast for 10k.

If you ran yesterday which was cooling, should be much faster.

Today is cool as well, can try hoot a good one. :)

Thanks thanks, will get new carbon-plate shoes (ASICS Magic Speed 4) and then try again. I wasn't wearing carbon-plate shoes to run the 10k.

Did another 10k tempo yesterday at 4.15 min/km with the last 5k at 19.52.

Good weather, could’ve PB, but wasn’t trying too hard except for the last 5k.

For bones, just the usual, around 100mg of Magnesium glycinate daily avg, calcium citrate around 400mg 2-3 times a week. A bit of D3 (around 10-15k IU) of capsules as weekends i get a fair bit of 9-10am sun. For me i have 10mg boron also, 2-3 times a week.

Joints - things get a bit placeboey here.....glycosamine sulfate / chondritin / MSM, collagen.

Anything good for the knees? Running is fine, no issues. But in recent months i went back to playing bola sepak which takes a toll on the knees, can really feel that the joints are a lot weaker than before. Some of those quick turns i can't really pull off anymore without feeling like the knees are going to come apart.

Yes for safety reasons.

You might slip and fall if the road is wet.

Those drain/sewer/metallic covers are very slippery. One lapse and gone liao.

Have slipped before once during running and 2X during riding. Even the part under Sheares bridge where it is super mini cobble surface (Garden Bay East) is bloody slippery esp if you are on ASCIS AHAR or Saucony XT900.

Riding is the much more risky of the 2 in terms of possible injuries that you can sustain.
Nowadays i dont ride when wet liao, unless if large parts already dry (eg 2-3hrs after it has stopped raining like very early morning or night time, or if the huge sun is out liao then it will dry fast)

Cconclusion - Falling down at any age or health condition is dangerous. No point risking it.

Always change shoes when the friction wears off to a certain condition.
