Sometimes after 10k slow run, I will do 80m sprints as recommended by @Kuudere and @WussRedXLi.

Very good training for quick acceleration.

Do those strides fast, but make sure it isn’t all-out sprint because it can cause ache to your shoulders + hamstring/calves if you run it too fast. Then defeats the point of strides.

WR attempt tomorrow

Should be evening for us when they run

Thanks for pointing out. Right now my sprinting gait is sort of clumsy so speed isn't the fastest even if i want to. 😄

Will watch for over-stress.

Yes, i think sales69 also not young....... i feel that even with strength training/plyo, cannot really sprint too many times a week and every sprint session also not too many reps. I do only 3 per session. Can do all out for shiokness and neuro and whatever benefits to muscoloskeletal (if any) but need to keep track on "total weekly volume"

Also, that is why like 60-75m enough for me already, really short ones.
See the pro cyclists, really just a tad over 10 seconds.
Anything over more like strides and tapping into what the glycolytic system and not ATP-PC liao.

I also do sprint training for cycling........also partly neuro, i try not to do too many.

Coz anyway all this is not gonna be super helpful, but just good to do stuff that also contributes a bit asethetically wrt body muscle tone, so just be consistent and just do but low reps, can liao.

maybe the invention of super shoes as well..some just want to flex lol
Majority probably won’t even be aware of super shoes. I think it’s just that younger people no longer that career focused like the older generation. Good for us, hopefully more and more chiobus jog, more motivation for the bbfas here to jog.

He will PR, mostly because it is his second time running in Valencia and also recently PR his 10k. I believe that he has the fitness to PR HM. Just depends on weather condition.
True enough he did PR again with a time of 1:07:26, at a literally insane pace of 3.12mins/km. Absolute madness.

Also, the WR for HM also got broken wow.
