injured my back have to rest. cannot get out of bed properly and feel pain in lower back. later go A&E
hope it isnt too serious, best to avoid running completely for now

hurt my lower back last Sep, and was unable to run for the first few weeks, and took 2 months to ramp back up to previous intensity

so envious you guys can run in the 3-4min/km pace allowing you to effectively try some really interesting shoes, eg. RM999 Anta C202 G9 (designed with Bekele's input)
I am still using Anta C202 5 GT, still works for me around 300+km in.

that's my goal eventually. if i can't do it then most likely i will go do 50K UTMB trail running. those sound just as fun. haaaa
Since you are trying the 20k trail race, it will give a better idea of whether you should go for the 50k one. 20k is already challenging considering trails are often harder to run than road.

Guilty, even though I advised against it, but there's the itch you just wanna know how far can you go in your state. LOL. But I do regress distance and pace, wear compression sleeves, and run on track if possible.

Currently I find QD FY PB 4 among my favorite plated shoes. Likely stick to QD and might upgrade to plaid 2 for the next SCSM. As usual, I will wait til nearing 6.18 or 11.11 then start looking.
People are saying plaid 2 is more stiff and not as smooth a ride as plaid 1 or 1.5

Guys, I was jogging yesterday afternoon at the railway corridor during heavy rain.

Just to be extreme careful while you jog or cycle.
Certain part of the corridor path not even, potholes and also the path like push up in the middle.
So if you jog or cycle at night, plse be careful ..

Got 1 whole fallen tree lying across the path once when i was cycling there to get to ABC market at Bukit Merah.
Was moderate rain then, heavy rain passed.

After that i made sure never to go there during rainy weather as the roots / branches would pecah one.

In fact i saw a rather long 2m long branch and of 30cm diameter that has fallen to the ground this morning while at Marina Bay East

Came across another fallen branch. I think at least 50kg, height at least 10m from above
