It's okay for slower or faster run to me.

Actually initially I feel the cushioning is too firm but not really the case. The cushioning I would said is moderate.

If my right leg same like my left leg think I can run better.

One word to describe would be the momentum. It's can really pushed you forward.

I thought the cushioning too hard will caused my feet pain but not really the case as I all the while running with NB.
I tried both Superblast 2 and S4+ Yogiri at Asics Ginza store. Both of them quite the same feeling of rocking forward, but Yogiri is more stable for me because of its lower stack.

Surprised at the local pricing of Yogiri though. You should buy a pair of Novablast 5 also. Use Novablast 5 for slower run or mileage run and Superblast 2 for longer and faster runs.

Asics SG MSRP
Metaspeed series $359
Superblast 2 $319
S4+ Yogiri $319
Magic Speed 4 $249

Seems like deliberate segmented pricing to not cannibalize sales.

If they price the S4+ at around $200+, it would make Magic Speed 4 irrelevant. On the other hand at $319, it actually makes the Metaspeed series look like an attractive proposition at just an additional 40 bucks.

Singapore pricing quite shitty for Asics shoes. Even in Japan, S4+ is much cheaper than SB2

He trains a lot just not posting here.

Coz i thought he mentioned like 4-6 months earlier he was guesstimating around 18:35. Now is GPS measurement of coz. So while got improvement, it's not a lot for the age, like mini plateau.

Not unlike a 9 month stretch like me last time.....which i only managed to get past it by changing a few things, from Creatine/Beta Alanine/whey + higher daily protein at 1.5g/kg (plus even harder strength training coz of cycling) to skipping rope and more recent Q4 last year bought lactate meter and more "scientifically measured" stuff with regards to blood lactate measurements.
Even a semi structured training schedule consisting of all the usual stuff from longer runs to threshold to usual SIT/hill sprints and majority Z2 plus strength + plyo + usual recovery like at least 7 hrs sleep daily with excellent sleep hygiene did not help.......stuck jiu shi stuck and my age sure would not help.

But ultimately since its just for hobby, i guess as long as dont slide can already. As long as dont burnout also coz there is no "off season".

Good job bro!

But lately you haven't been training much? Not say inconsistent or what, but less.

Yeah been a little inconsistent, due to 50+ hour weeks and 5 days work in office + 1 day offsite. Not maintaining 60k/week consistently, but still can at least hit 50k.

I ran that after work at 9pm, so it’s unlikely to reflect my fitness. Could be possible if I run on weekends with a short nap. But I would consider re-doing if I didn’t achieve sub-19 min, because that should still be attainable even when I have a long day.

this is an awesome achievement. congrats & keep it up! a great inspiration to some of us.

Thanks, it’s tough to get in time to run but I try to make time after work. I eat after running so there’s definitely sacrifices involved. Good thing is that in the later half of this year, I will have more leaves and I want to use that to hit 65k/week.
