Evening. My dream of 10k under 60 mins finally come true! After months of training in 8:30/km - 10:00/km just to wait for a moment like this. Thanks to the afternoon rain and Qiaodan plaid. Thank to all members of this thread.

But HR not improved one bit. Only thing I noticed is HR drift less now. Last time 5k already reach 165 bpm. So happy tonight sia. Think will take 2 weeks off running celebrate and eat until bui bui.

You are gunning for a target time. So you are pushing above steady state HR, that is why it is climbing. Normal when doing a trial to test if you have improve. Indeed you have. Very well paced run.

5:56min /km is close to your Threshold Pace. If your Garmin allows intensity zoning by Pace you can use 5:56min/km as the LT pace. You will get more accurate zone 4 and zone 5 pacing, whihc is useful for interval, and 5 km pace and fairly accurate zone 2 steady state pace.

10.1km @ 7'00"av HR 160av 168max
another torturous run, felt really strenuous and have expanded all my stamina to complete the 10km, similar to my HM and 24km runs
