Maybe 60s n above?
Or late 50s onwards.
I ran in stadium and always see many runners in different age group. I am 47 years old and can maintain 5.30min/km for 21km. I seldom see a 60 years old run below 6min or able to overtake me. However I seen 3 runners above 50 could still run faster and overtake me. Which mean they could run 5min/km to 5.10min /km for at least 10-15km .

1 chap at my place can run a fair bit faster than me, believe zone 2 or at most light tempo around 4.30? Faster low 4.00s also no breathing sounds one. Of coz he is like 20 to even 30 years younger than me. Regardless, no excuses, he is pretty fast.

But both of us relatively short distances, est prob he does around 4-6km daily type, long run would be longer like around 1 hr type. But never seen 2-3 hrs type.

Extremes lagi jialat......just came across a youtube vid, the youtuber's legs totally toast from the "short" climb (still much longer/higher than our Mt Faber), the UAE team with Tadej Pogacar only warm up zone 1.
For regular exercisers, no e-bike no talk if wanna take footage.

So tmr is 50k? (y) Good thing is no rain and windy. Can spray water onto spandex poly shirt and rely a bit on evap cooling.
Bro, 40km pasta urban walk.
the indoor stadium is crowded today.
my friend took part 3.5km run around the track.
tomorrow will be pack , friend told me easily hit 1k participants.
it will be interesting….as the walk will be till evening….

Jogging will make ur muscles disappear, u will become weak. Look at kipchoge, he got the stamina but he dont hv strength. I bet he hv knee and joint pains after all that torture.

Ive cut my runs to zone2-3 for an hour 3x a week for cardio. Now doing more strength and weight training to build up my strength. Hiit sometimes to improve my cardio. No need to push as my bloodwork are all average and in healthy range.

Being able to complete 2.4 under 10mins or FM under 4hr doesnt mean u r fit fyi.

Tmr better get your vest and fill with extra soft bottles or even those 300ml PET bottles. Use the aid stations too or similar stuff to top up etc. Added weight is a -ve but still the cooling helps, it doesnt help if you are light but dehydrated and overheated and bpm even at 8.00 pace is 150. In fact half of it better be isotonic drinks, and maybe 1 or 2 salt tablets if have it. (or put a little more salt in your isotonics like 100 plus).

Constant pour on top is good, it is pretty dry and somewhat windy at some open areas.

I was wondering when will TAO gives me my Long run for the SCSM training. Coz I set the SCSM race date prior to Skechers run. This is it. Guess this is TAO way of saying training begins.

Lai Lai, keep watch where and when marathon segment is showing. Watching out for Bekele. Hoping Kipchoge can perform, coz read he is facing stress from threats on his family.

Seems like the Paris course not optimally suited for Kipchoge
But as long as can win (gold), is can liao......hat trick
