Oh if you have access to any parts of TEL then can. It's just a very short 300m walk.

Or just hoot from Bukit Batok MRT (very short run to there) and arrive at Marina South Pier at around 6.25, then jog around 2k over just nice for warm up. If easier to access Bukit Batok MRT, best is this coz you reach there can hoot liao. Do some dynamic stretches on the MRT.

I just measured, just a 1.4k jog from Marina South Pier to marina barrage. 6.30 daybreak already, not scary one.

Taxi Price is Expensive 😣

Can I ask you all is there any way to reach Marina Barrage by taking public transportation from Bukit Batok this coming Sunday before 7 am for the race ?
For Income eco run last year, I took the train and ended up at Garden by the bay station. The walk to Barrage is quite near.

First time I will be doing that.

Actually it's my first run in Marina Barrage.

The last Skecher Run start at Stadium.

Should be fine but do know that the bus services and any change in MRT lines/stations in the early mornings is a bit stressful coz the timings are a bit long. The first bus might not even be that early coz as i mentioned Sundays/PH are around 30 mins start later one.

So best is to run to any particular starting point MRT and cover 1 shot, eg Bukit Batok -> Marina South Pier which is just 44 mins journey. Much less stressful and predictable.

Oh but then if your Bukit Batok side is closer to Downtown line and not the old NSL Bukit Batok / Bukit Batok Central, then bo bian gotta change at Stevens to TEL easier ba.

Wait......Jeremy you living in private property and not HDB ah? :ROFLMAO:
Hillview Bukit Batok area no HDB.

Actually if that Hillview to Bukit Timah Station RC route is not loose gravel, using foldie to cycle down to MBS area is quite ok and practical one. Just need good lights if before 0645h.

If not podium runner, not being on time is alright. no need to gan cheong to meet the exact flag off time. Usually after 30minutes still can run thru the starting timing mat. Only concern is he has to meet the cut off time but then this is usually quite generous for singapore race.

Yah just need to take note of the pen closing time.

Last year AHM i started at what....0655, sun was already nearly peeking out liao. They closed at 0700-0705h.
They told the 10k to meet 15 mins before 6AM. 100% confirm cannot unless bike there or take expensive grab. The dedicated shuttle $9 1 way, and iirc it was at Tiong Bahru nearest to me.

Got pros and cons...

Pros = whole friggin Nicoll highway literally to yourself. :ROFLMAO: (for AHM)
Cons = Dont know run race for what then....coz feeling the same as any other sunday if not running on specific roads. ie on the usual publicly accessible routes.

Oh seems to be around 1.1km run to Bukit Batok NSL (1.4k warm up from Marina South Pier). And a bit farther to Hillview DTL (GBTB MRT 300m only, basically enough for some strides).
See which one you like better with regards to final leg warm up before reaching MB.
