Oh seems to be around 1.1km run to Bukit Batok NSL (1.4k warm up from Marina South Pier). And a bit farther to Hillview DTL (GBTB MRT 300m only, basically enough for some strides).
See which one you like better with regards to final leg warm up before reaching MB.

I usually run to Hillview MRT cause it's much faster going to town.

For those aspiring BQers. 2026 qualifying time

If I met my race goal this year, and I identify as a non-binary, can qualify, :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Standard really high. It's 3:20 for me, how to run for eg SCSM even with normal / sane training? With that sort of heat.
Maybe even zero90 prob cannot hit that locally. 2:55?

You are potential sub 3 if you set out to train like zero90. So it's really up to you if you want to commit the time and also if interest is there or not

Really too hard for too long....... I can commit the hours but i suspect body joints and similar (fascia, tendons etc) cannot take it.....that part perhaps not so "talented", even with conscientious supplementation and good diet, good enough sleep volume/quality. Still got weak points i guess.

Cycling really less impact and less areas to go wrong, easier to spend the hours at lower intensities.
Already doing strength training lower and upper parts daily, just rotating and hitting different areas so that can recover better.

Even Jakob 190k per week (but all broken up) also got broken down in HM distance, but of coz he really gunned it .
Lack experience. It's his first trial. Give him a few more hm competition he will learn to gauge for a negative split.
His first 10k too fast liao, that he broke his national record with that.

Chicago marathon qualifiers are harder I think. Not easy to achieve

He can’t hit locally, but overseas should be sub-3

Even Jakob 190k per week (but all broken up) also got broken down in HM distance, but of coz he really gunned it .

He finished and then ran a time of 63 minutes. So definitely still ultra fast

One tree at MBS near the water bowl got downed. Workers sawing the trunks. Another one near Art Sci museum alsogot downed. Paths partially cordoned off.

Workers also clearing all the palm fronds which were stripped off, at least a good few dowzen fronds got blown off, from the Olympic walk + promonitory all the way to Helix bridge / GBTB.

The 2 big trees nearest to Marina Barrage bridge got downed, total uproot the roots all visible. Got cones cordoning off the running/cycling track and also the NParks security buggy flashing lights.

But jokers still die die wanted to getr across to the other side via the grass field close to the Marina Reservoir, and in the end got semi stuck in muddy fields, some turned back while others perserved.

Really dont know why and the logic of those folks.

It's actually quite dangerous. Got runners RIP before due to downed trees.
Higher chance than getting struck by lightning.

I turned back though, not chancing it coz trees might already be weakened and with wet/loose grounds and it's still actually somewhat windy. Any sudden gusts come or storm again, that is it bros.

Average resting Heart rate, categorize by age, gender. I guess most of us here would be in the Excellent or Athlete range if we have been consistently running for more than one year with decent mileage ansd assuming have no heart disease. But I think data is biased toward AMDK since the data are from CDC.

Going back to shorter distances like 5k

He said parkruns you can run every weekend and be fine, but not long distance races like ultras, not even 2 races every 3 months as he was trying to do it as frequently he was able to, which concerned him at this point of time. Still gonna run ultras for fun but not in a race scenario.
