@Kuudere

I think you'd outgun Gabby Thomas in 1609m :ROFLMAO:

Doesn't matter, she got gold medal

She can earn about $650k in SGD after all the deductions.

Still haven't include sponsorships and possibly winning Asian Games gold in the lead up to olympic gold. :ROFLMAO:
yea agree on 2.4km no shortcuts and its probably the most painful one to train...

the km repeats was done because watched too much YT runners training sessions; mile repeats km repeats...

will try option A first... i have done option B (similar) last year and failed quite badly at maintaining the pace... probably about 3.10-3.15 for 800m
km repeat >> 5k pace
mile repeat >> 10k pace

Don't worry about it, slowly you'll progress through
Hayden Wilde, that 13:21 fella that i posted recently

Look at Alex Yee crossing his arms at the end, he has a better burst

Very very fast fella. Well worthy of the title.
Hayden Wilde sure super pissed off coz it happened again.

Wilde ran it the best he can, by opening up a gap. Yee just has a stronger endurance (27.4x 10k) vs Wilde (28.5x 10k).

With a stronger endurance, allows Yee to sit back and run at his max effort.

XMM

IIRC kuudere mentioned she 12 yrs old i think

Yep, 12 y.o. this year. Her goal is to make it to Olympic trials marathon in 2028 at 16.

She didn’t join her school’s track team since the training program wasn’t good according to the Dad. But might venture into it for high school, though this is unconfirmed yet.

Qualifying time: 2.37.00

Must be under that. So that means, she need to cut down another 18 minutes in the next 4 years.

I just digged a bit more, wow both these fellas have a 13:2x 5k road timing.

Like Jakob Ingrebrigtsen is a 13:1x runner, for quick ref......but of coz he is not known for his 5k but still very quick nevertheless (world best few dozens of them is sub 13 PR i think). But just as a quick reference to put things into better perspective.

I believe shd be very similar story for the 10k

Today Adidas at CCP got Takumi Sen 10 at 50% off, final price < $100.

Very tempted to buy but don't have my exact size and my Adios 8 still in good condition

Despite the controversy with some posting that she might be doping. It is official, ratified. She will always be the first woman to Sub 2:10, which is a very high bar for women.

Super highly recommend this set. It is using latex, quality is good.

Just get the set of 5 bands sua. Maybe 60lb + 60lb + 80lb + 80lb + 80lb. Only the 60, 70 and 80lb are latex

The length is longer than those usual closed loop resistance bands, so in reality the resistance is more constant over the entire range of motion for doing your strengthening exercises coz you extend it farther than the closed loop resistance bands when doing your exercises. At the other end of the spectrum is those short mini bands (those are more for convenience).
Those who have used resistance bands would know what i am talking about.

5pcs
1-2 pcs for the ankle strap and 2-3 pcs for the upper body using the handle and door stopper.

tldr : Just grab this set......
Put in the comments say 2pcs 60lbs, 3pcs 80lbs.

五条装【60磅-80磅】 【联系客服备注磅数60磅-80磅】

Going to build up more of the traps and delts. The push ups are decent but time to get more serious.

I think i am gonna concentrate more on the hamstrings and intro even heavier overload and progress more. Good for both cycling (balance more vs the quads) and running.
