I have one ON shoe for walking/casual that I got in US outlet. Didn't try their running range
mine was an older model Cloudgo, that i bought in a Shanghai factory outlet. From On's website, this is how they described the shoe "The Cloudgo is a lightweight, soft-cushioning running shoe that offers huge energy return - from your first run to your 50th."
Too much marketing fluff, to be honest.
Its ok as a slow daily trainer, nothing special and comfortable for wearing as a travel shoe, which is what i am using it for.
Tested Cloudsurfer, Cloudswift 3 and some others. Those max stack eg. Cloudmonsters not my cup of tea. Cloudsurfer was a possibility and midsole felt better than cloudgo but my feet didn't like the drop. Wish the forefoot has more midsole, it would have been my choice.
My feet felt nicest in Cloudswift but felt for Cloudgo will feel better for running. And now ended up as a travel/walking shoe. 😂

Of coZ. All running shoes are cheaper in japan .Megablast is retailed at 27500 yens which is close to SG$240 based on current exchange rate . After tax deduction if u r able to . It will be not more than sg$220.

The only ASICS I owned is superblast now. already hit 600km. Getting Megablast if available when I travel to japan in coming oct. But I also don't mind getting superblast 2 or metaspeed edge Tokyo.

Ran this with 1200km of hyperspeed 4. Probably should get a new pair but haven’t had time to buy shoes.

Went through the last 5km at 19.47, 147 average bpm.

@Ender 90-95% recovered liao, running with fresh legs is a different experience 😂

i have a pair and have tested others as well. For its price, not worth it imo.
ON stuffs very expensive leh.... all of them should be quite rich and atas de

For me ish taobao / CINA. :frown:

But all these events are really lifestyle but of coz there is a certain performance component in it, see if you like or not. Saw a couple of times their running group around MBS and even till Orchard ION crossing over to cuscaden. Got lululemon flag one, sometimes got 1 fella will jump onto platform and wave the big flag to give sarpork. I think other groups like Puma, ASCIS even the big NB group all no flag.

I saw a lululemon sorta private sale last weekend at Vivo, inside all the people cheong, like free like that. I "sneaked" in together with my kid (totally out of place coz we were in our cycling attire/helmets/safety rear lights clipped to our rear jerseys......the price still like fwah.
One pants like still over 200 bucks.
My kid and i looked at each other smile smile.

Bonus. We call this the PENIS brand. (PNS)

+1 hyperspeed 4. my go to shoe for running fast and TT last year. Replaced by Adios 9.
May grab a pair of hyperspeed 5 when it goes on discount.

Glad that you are back.
This week I tried to get back with TAO training. After the 2 weeks absence, it assigned three hard sessions this week. Managed to complete the first two, progression and 3.2km assessment. The 3.2 assessement really dropped from previous one. And last night tried to do the scheduled interval ruin, first lap, already lao hong. Guess I am not ready to get back on track yet.

Didn’t realise hyperspeed 5 is out already, will give it a try if I can find it 😅

Sub 19 coming baby!!! To be confirmed.

I broke sub 19, will go for 18.30 but need to get new pair of racing shoes first

Seems like a lot of hard workouts in 1 week, I did easy 3k and 5k on tue/wed before going for the hard run on thur. I will cut back on my long run distance this week and slowly increase again.

Since you managed to hit the first 2 sessions, that’s good enough 😅 I usually don’t do more than 2 hard sessions each week as it’s too taxing.

yaoxiukia previously own adidas running shoes. dont really like the lightstrike pro foam. But NB fuelcell yaoxiukia like alot more. yaoxiukia wondering should he try nike and asics now? is the superblash + and the nike zoomx foam good than adidas? adidas just feel lacklustre with that high cost

The problem with Adidas is their lightstrike pro probably got 3 variant types.

The lightstrike pro found in pro 3 (firm) is different in pro 4 (much softer) . Although both Evo SL and pro 4 released almost the same period. The lightstrike pro found on Evo SL is using the same as pro 3. Latest Adidas prime strung 3 also has 3 different of lightstrike pro which is also different from pro 4.

Seem to me that u prefer a softer running midsole foam.

i find the bouncy and energy return to be lesser in adidas. NB never fail to disappoint me. I want to try nike streakfly 2 and maybe superblast 2
