Super sweet n thick. I tried to consume one on bike, half way choked (because thick), and then kept coughing (because sweet). Took me 5 mins to recover. That 5 mins caused me to slow down alot. So I'm always very careful when consuming GU. Eventually stopped taking. Last one I had probably 6 yrs ago.
Ya, the thick consistency get stuck in throat and then trigger the gag reflex.

Running is addictive?
Been using the gym threadmill.
Got lots of people waiting to take turns on it yet still want to wait to use it. Can see slow gradual improvement in stamina and doesnt feel so much tired as previously.
running is addictive cos one can try different gears :ROFLMAO:

another way to become addictive is chasing PBs and unlocking new techniques

Just tried flame 4 @ different paces. Most comfortable for me will be at 4.15-4.20.

4km WU
4km x 4 @ 5,4.40,4.20 and 4
4km CD

No legs for the last set. Think need to reduce the volume to get this workout done aka 3km x 4.

i saw the youtube, shanti's next lane was Anavia Battle who blew past her in the first 100m. Was hoping she could go under 23s. Nevertheless, well done Shanti.
Worth it, not easy to represent Sg in the world stage!!

4km x 4 with no rest? Then I guess your HM should be around 4.15 - 4.20 since it's your comfortable point

Indeed it is. My last hm was done at 4.18/km haha.
Then you can actually train at 4.16/km. Probably 4k x 4 (2 min jog rest between sets) at 4.16 min/km, you can try this
https://www.olympics.com/en/news/sy...-championships-2025-womens-400m-final-results

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has won the women’s 400m gold with a time of 47.78 seconds, just outside the 40-year-old world record of Marita Koch (47.60).

Best in 400m hurdles, 2nd best in 400m! Simply amazing!
Quite a lot of ppl predict her to run 47.9. For her to run her PB at 47.78 in her first year running 400m, most likely can set WR as she gets better with the 400.

definitely well within reach. the rain probably held her back slightly. won't be a surprise if she does so by next year.

Actually this was a 10km specific targetted progressive Long run. Idea was to run at sub 4 pace for the last 4km on tired legs but unfortunately my legs can't do it. Left 3 more weeks to Real Run.

If I am aiming a sub 90 HM,I think ideally I would like to run at 4.05-4.10 with 2 min jog between sets.
