Cheap and good tasting. I personally can vouch for it.Didn't know they have their own branded. One day will try.
Interesting video.....
Actually brought up one point that rarely gets brought up.......in fact i have never seen it got brought up in any youtube vid and i dont read any professional running websites so not sure if it's a thing.
It's the biomechanics and neuro aspect. Like for eg cadence, yeah it doesnt really matter but then again, if you are adept in doing 165-170++, then if you wanna try 3:15 to 3:55 pace range for say 1.5K to 3K distances (VO2 efforts) or maybe even 800m or 1k, the demands on your stride length would be WOW, well above 1.5 metres. Meaning both strength and explosiveness would be top notch and i do mean top notch
But of coz if you dont play middle distances or even 5k, then this is of little concern.
But then again, basically we can also put it this way, if for 300m and biomechanically/muscularly strength wise you feel that 3:45 pace is like totally feels wierd to you, then stuff like getting below 40 mins for 10k, the limiter is not aerobically already.
I did chase them twice to give me an update and both times they said will check with delivery team and get back to me, which they never did. Got fed up and raised a cancellation request with Shopee last night and instantly i-running contacted me and said they received my cancellation request and would not proceed with delivering my order. Totally zero attempt at any kind of service recovery from their end.Got try calling them on the phone? I bought my spin bike from them a few years ago. Their service and speed of delivery were acceptable.
thanks everyone for the advise
will go take x ray
The yesuol bikes are not very impressive also. U will see some complaints online. For the big screen model, the os was buggy. I tried to pair a non yesoul heart rate monitor but couldn't get it detected, and had to buy their brand one. As for the app, not only unimpressive, but also frustrated me sometimes. Cannot have high expectations on yesoul.I did chase them twice to give me an update and both times they said will check with delivery team and get back to me, which they never did. Actually i was more than wiling to wait since I know during this period they are probably swamped with orders. But their total lack of simple business ethic and proactiveness to inform customer of potential delays + promising to check and update but never did, makes me think they are not customer orientated at all. Don't think i should waste anymore time and money on them. Took a small risk and ordered another Spin bike from Pingduoduo. Hope everything turns out fine.
I dont need high end or fancy functions. As long the frame is sturdy and got adjustable resistance can liao. Did my check on Lazada and Shopee local sellers and anything below $200 is just basic bike with no adjustable resistance. Yesoul is the middle ground with quite comprehensive specs at $300+. After that would be a huge step up to gym grade models going for $700-$800 or above $1k, which is out of my budget. The yesuol bikes are not very impressive also. U will see some complaints online. For basic usage $120+ for a spin bike is good price. NiceI dont need high end or fancy functions. As long the frame is sturdy and got adjustable resistance can liao. I read online the Yesoul app is supposed to be "free", but actually alot of functions is paywalled. To me not really an issue since i normally listen to music or watch tv while working out and won't likely be using any of the bike's companion apps.
End up i ordered a 汗马 brand spin bike from 拼多多. Supposedly one of the best selling brands on both taobao and 拼多多. Adjustable magnetic resistance with big frame. Paid $120+ which is only half of what i had paid for the Yesoul from i-running, and thats after shopee's 11/11 coupon.
my 5k average stride length is 150+ and HM is 135.imho.. cadence is one of the most important aspect of running. And to me it is easier to increase cadence than stride length especially for us folks that is shorter in height. For me my sweet spot for stride length when running fast/very fast is only about 1.3m. But cadence can go up to 210+. For slow/easy runs... my cadence comes down to 196+ and stride length shortens to 0.8m
From my personal experience, care should be taken when increasing stride length. Very easy to get injured especially with poor running form. It is also very demanding on muscle strength.
you have strong legsmy 5k average stride length is 150+ and HM is 135.
I know a national runner with a long run of 170spm, his tempo (6km) is 172 spm. Sub 16 min 5k guy. Was a 800/1500 runner in the past, maybe high stride length and low cadence.you have strong legs
me old man... can only turnover faster![]()
