I doubt so haha. So best to sign up when registration is open. Think that will be the cheapest.Wah if only SCSM have same discount for Singaporeans. Let's see the new organisers how they charge it

I am still not sure atm whether to continue marathon or focus on half and below.I doubt so haha. So best to sign up when registration is open. Think that will be the cheapest.
Not bad. So many years out of the running scene, still can run.
Can be 15k runner, there are 2 races each year for that distanceI am still not sure atm whether to continue marathon or focus on half and below.
Yes, trying the distance out for income eco run. See u there hahaCan be 15k runner, there are 2 races each year for that distance
Marathon ba. It’s a distance that once you conquered it with your targetted timing, you will feel the satisfaction haha.I am still not sure atm whether to continue marathon or focus on half and below.

me still in the cock up stagebut for faster runners this 15k distance can tahan gunning and maintaining LT2 for the same duration of 55 mins or if anything cock up then 60+ mins.
Remember you signed up one overseas race, Hatyai? Is this other FM ?Marathon ba. It’s a distance that once you conquered it with your targetted timing, you will feel the satisfaction haha.
2 marathons for me this year. One being SCSM. Targeting 315
me still in the cock up stage. Still cannot go below 60mins but nearly there. Need a really cold morning to do the trick. Target is to go under 58mins this year but now I think too ambitious.
Willnt be tapering for the run, most I will do is 10k @ 15k pace for training before the race. I am at least able to get in 6k comfortably right now.Yes, trying the distance out for income eco run. See u there haha

I will be targeting 65 minutes, most probably don’t need fuelling but I plan to consume 1 gel as trainingActually 15k-16k 10 miles range quite good......esp for those faster runners (17-18 min 5k / 36-38 min 10k thereabouts) and wanting a fast race, but also want an endurance twist in it, so basically is a 1hr race and run at threshold sub 4:00 pace if really trained well and without any slower paces / serious grind. if amateurs train nicely enough for it GI issues and proper race nutrition also no need to touch, just keep it simple. Electrolyte issues also can be avoided if similarly pre-race prepped just rely on the on-site 100 plus or something.
edit - or if you think about it duration wise, 10k 55-60 min is a decent goal for more recreational to intermediate runners running in Z2 to LT2 , but for faster runners this 15k distance can tahan gunning and maintaining LT2 for the same duration of 55 mins or if anything cock up then 60+ mins. heh..... No zone 2, no LT1. Some folks do not regard 5k / even up till 30-40 mins thereabouts as a true endurance event.
Heck, for the really fit zais, they can run easy pace 4:00 and finish 15k in 1hr liao. heh......
Personally feel HM is the sweet spot, where the training of threshold and endurance has a pretty good mix, especially for those who can sub 2. And confirm we have one certified course with SCSM to benchmark.I am still not sure atm whether to continue marathon or focus on half and below.
60m33s from tt back in jan. Feb was a pretty slack month.I tot you were already at the 60 mins stage. Close enough i guess.![]()
I am targeting 1:05 as wellWillnt be tapering for the run, most I will do is 10k @ 15k pace for training before the race. I am at least able to get in 6k comfortably right now.
There’s another 15k race (SingTel run) in September, I might try for that
I will run 1 marathon for this year, and see how it goes.

Hatyai is HM. I got a few HM lined up haha.Score and Amazing Thailand HM. Main goal is to break 90 this year. But after last year injury, looking quite bleak but just follow training plan and see how it goes.Remember you signed up one overseas race, Hatyai? Is this other FM ?
Sounds like you don’t like LSD hahaha.Personally feel HM is the sweet spot, where the training of threshold and endurance has a pretty good mix, especially for those who can sub 2. And confirm we have one certified course with SCSM to benchmark.
Training requirement are also my sweet spot for a enjoyable run.
1, LSD : No need to train LSD > 30km. LSD at 21km is good enough.
2, Interval : Threshold cruising 1km at 5k pace needed. 2km at 10km pace.
3. Daily easy run, 7km to 21km . Ya LSD of 21km is also an easy daily training, literally mean the dreaded torturing LSD workout at > 30km is gone.
Amazing Thailand, you might get to run with Kipchoge at 6:30min/km pace. LOLHatyai is HM. I got a few HM lined up haha.Score and Amazing Thailand HM. Main goal is to break 90 this year. But after last year injury, looking quite bleak but just follow training plan and see how it goes.
Marathon that I am looking at is Standard Chartered Hanoi or Ha Long Bay but Ha Long Bay date very near to Amazing Thailand and SCSM.
