This year's distance seems accurate, I got about 21.27km on my watch.

If everyone else sees the same, kudos to the organisers for finally getting it right.
Yup based on the runners I have seen, the distance quite accurate. Hopefully eco run will be the same too

I thought it was rain mist, but didn't know it was haze
Saw some elderly folks wearing masks on their morning leisurely walk. Thought to myself "haze got so bad meh" lol. But really if it had to come down to the point where i have to wear mask for outdoor activities i much rather just stay home. Lucky i got some dumbells and a spin bike at home if the haze situation does get worse.

Yeah, i also mentioned this before, if i buy all these drinks at petrol kiosks/convenience stores to drink, sure wallet pok in the long run....though that'd be cool.
Also, i like to put into my pocket to slowly sip it at the lights.....and before harder stretches then i drink more.
i should try out one fine day putting my electrolyte drink into a soft bottle from flipbelt that comes with my running tights, esp. for a long run (more than 90min)

Where are you based at bro? Near Northshore residences, or even further south near Punggol MRT, Or Pasir Ris?

Dont think will get worse, the intermonsoon period coming very soon...in fact supposed to have started

Serangoon. I checked the real time air quality website when I got back in the morning and it was showing 70+ and the worst was central areas at 80+. No burnt smell but I did feel some discomfort with my throat but feeling better after I downed 1 big bottle of chill plain water.

Wasted, i went West and NW today and then looped back to finish with Sentosa/Mt Faber.
Didnt go Punngol Nth Ave or near that part. Possibly came from that part but of coz cant confirm as i didnt go there.
But likely to be very transient in nature, ie last weekend my kid and i went there and it was literally choking in the early morning, returned around 1hr+ later, no more liao.

One can only hope the monsoon season starts and bring some rain relief. Today 清明节 and elderly people always say 清明节时雨纷纷 but yet to see a single drop. Nowadays weather really haywire and unpredictable.

BTW, for me same session, apart from the short warm up sets, 1 set to complete failure (past technical failure) and possibly just doing partials / slow eccentrics for the last few reps is more than enough. Eg 1 for dips at the double bars and then 1 for overhead press at the log station @ fitness corner. My pecs and trips are totally F-ed. Same for pull ups. End of session, even you'd even your localized neuromuscular system is fully worked if the final reps are a bit shaky and also post set your hands are shaking a bit. These muscle tremors is a sign of acute neuromuscular fatigue.

Remember to not stop at the burn stage, shake the lactate out and do again even for just 1-2 reps, and multiply that a few times. Those reps are what works, not the initial reps. But just be careful with these, listen to your body as this part might be risky. Every few weeks deload a bit for a week might be useful too.

I can attest that it still works for middle age and total time is just like 60 mins per week for both upper and lower body and you will still progress....at least for our level and context here.
