this shoes definitely need to try in store before you buy. cos it's a narror race fit and there is no heel counter.Think I saw it at around $100. Was hoping for cheaper.
But main worry is whether it's too narrow for my bunion feet.

I had the AP3. The sole split up under 300 km and retired it. I had a different experience with it. It didn't warm up to me as the Vaporfly next%2 that time.i dpn't know if you have tried adi AP3 before. The similarity between the two shoe is uncanny! take the rods out of AP3 and what you get is lifeng SL. the geometry, sweet spot both same same. I will still race in AP3 for the added kick at faster paces.
just tried red hare 9u at store... no go for me cos the forefoot too stiff as I am looking for a daily run shoe, the forefoot needs to be relatively flexible. stiffness probably due to high stack midsole i guess.Get both Lifeng and Red hare haha.
Lifeng when you feel like doing the work. Redhare to just bounce along.
Go where can buy?Consider Qiaodan Qinghong Free too.
Very light, very natural. Low stack/drop, ground feel. Non plated with stability shank. Flexible.
In fact, most natural shoe I ran in recent years. Getting back the real running feel with this shoe.
Also fulfills the product name. Light and run freely.
I don't have Adios 9 but did a comparison with the Runrepeat review.
Ticked above 90% of the Adios pros.
I think they made the Forefoot width wider than Adios for more stability.
I tried twisting the shoe. Seems slightly less flexible than the Runrepeat review. Maybe another change for more stability?
Also very breathable. And comes in White for your wife.![]()
Only con is the midsole is slightly soft.
No problems for slow run but might sap abit of energy for faster runs.
I swapped out the insole for the Plaid insole which is abit firmer and bouncier and felt better.
Qiaodan should consider making another version with a firmer and bouncier midsole. That would work great as a 5k and 10k race shoe.
Add-on: Recently my plantar got better. Running with this shoe seems to further improve my condition.
Yesterday did slow poke 6:45 run for 6km. Then tried 1km at 5:30pace. Followed by 4 strides below 5mins.
Virtually no pain. Today at most 0.5 pain. Feeling good.![]()
How is sizing on the Qinghong Free? Did you go TTS? Saw one PRC reviewer say the shoe has minimal heel counter so for better lockdown best to go size down.Consider Qiaodan Qinghong Free too.
PDD and TB lor...........sub 250rmb add gst and what not around $55+Go where can buy?

Later the whole of Singapore men buy and then wear pink shoes at $249.
am around 73kg, running at paces 7-8min/km, 9U is on the firm side and can't really bounce along. But running at around 6min/km pace or faster, the bounce becomes apparent. Not sure if the shoe needs more mileage to break in.Get both Lifeng and Red hare haha.

Ya the Redhare is very high stack and cushioned. Almost zero connection to the ground.just tried red hare 9u at store... no go for me cos the forefoot too stiff as I am looking for a daily run shoe, the forefoot needs to be relatively flexible. stiffness probably due to high stack midsole i guess.

76kg. I haven't tried under 7mins. But ya under 6mins is bounce bounce for me.am around 73kg, running at paces 7-8min/km, 9U is on the firm side and can't really bounce along. Does anyone with 9U have similar experience?
Went and rechecked for my Qiaodan Leli 1.0 i actually went one full size up from my usual EU45 and length wise was just nice. Think i probably will also go 1 size up if i am getting the Qing Hong Free.I have wide feet. Saw a review suggesting the forefoot is quite narrow. So I size up from usual 44 to 45. (one finger width space in front)
On first wear, the ball area felt slightly tight even after sizing up. After 2 runs, the upper loosen and now feel a tiny bit loose.
Maybe I could have got away with 44. For normal and narrow feet, should go TTS.
Edit: Hmm narrow feet could consider size down but need to watch the length.
haven't tried wearing the 9u casually due to midfoot tightness, after run can't wait to take off the shoe76kg. I haven't tried under 7mins. But ya under 6mins is bounce bounce for me.
I did get the bounce when walking fast. Helpful when catching bus.![]()
Read on reddit a very common complaint with NB5 is the foam just feels dead after 250-300km.Both my novablast 5s feels dead after 300km. My wallet cannot take it if my running shoes die so fast
Disappointing... Those ain't cheapRead on reddit a very common complaint with NB5 is the foam just feels dead after 250-300km.
TB or PDD? The best i could find on TB is still above 60Ok ordered a pair of Qing Hong Free and paid around $50 all in. Saw Zone 2 90 going for around 380rmb which is by far the cheapest i seen so far on PDD.
I got the bounce feeling with red hare pro from PDD. Prefer it to qiandan strong wind which is firmer. Pace near 5 min / kmam around 73kg, running at paces 7-8min/km, 9U is on the firm side and can't really bounce along. But running at around 6min/km pace or faster, the bounce becomes apparent.
