I manually did it hahaha! On strava it was 42.2km with almost 2000m in elevation change! But after importing to garmin, the distance became 42.16km and a more acceptable elevation change of 200+m
the garmin connect one doesn't seem to factor in elevation for sheares haha

Now I am still undecided for this year BYD FM..last year I trained and unfortunately got injured in August and had to pass my bib to my colleague who finished in 4:30 hrs.

This year . The longest single run was last month 26km at 2hrs 24mins . If I could managed to hit 28km to 30km by end august and also must learn to to fuelling with energy gel. Then I should be ready by Dec . My Target time is to go Below 4:30 hrs.

Edit: Extended the starting line by a wee bit, whole course is now 42.2km. The u-turn at ECP kind of sketchy, but whatever. :s13:
Elevation might be inaccurate due to DEM and artificial structures like the Sheares Bridges and lands of water.

Still long way to go. You can start 2nd week of Sep and still have a solid 12 weeks of training haha.

Also could be congenital, but first few decades already would have presented itself.
edit - knn it is congenital alright and age 20 usually starts presenting itself already, but sometimes only middle aged onset in the 40s and 50s.....the age where most of us really start exercising/taking care of our health etc.

You'd never have known or suspected anything without specialized tests like TTE or genetic testing. A normal ECG does not totally rule this out also. Till you drop and if survive then investigated thoroughly.

A very good all rounder, good cardio for running and good strength, good muscle built. Also kenna heart attack at 57. Younger than me. Guess it still happens, just at the lower risk bucket and hope we are on the right side of the bucket, not the few disappointed ones.

CAC can give a pretty decent indicator of subclinical atheroscelerosis. Same as TMX, around 400 bucks.

Best for over 40 to do, esp 50/60 like us (if never do). Do once, then next decade repeat.
Doesn't really matter if got do more extreme sports/training or not, imo.

Not sure cheaper by how much in Malaysia tho.....if planning to go there to do including colonscopy.

Do as a package, other than TMX and CAC also got other small stuff added in. S$878

@GlassDoor Think can try, just 799 only. in Dec 3:10 you bao jiak ......
If dont mind unofficial channels less than 550.

But if you already have similar stuff like Plaid or Danian, then maybe dont bother....coz of slight biomechanical differences (assuming yours is already nearly perfect for your style of running)

my personal take of the test is that it is highly personalised. Also means. it depends on how you run. ie your bio mechanics. And looking at the chart my guess is that he is more of a stride runner which flavours bounce over roll as can be seen from FD6E being no 2 and bmai JT3 being almost last. I ran in the JT3 a while ago and imho its a high cadence runners best friend. On that note Bmai Jingtan 4 is out!

Edit: imho it also depends on the pace which is tied back to the bio mechanics. i believe many will have used a race day shoe for recovery runs before and feel that it is not as efficient as using a daily trainer for that pace.

I am training in two pairs of AP3 currently which I use for long tempos and long runs. And have another new pair of AP3 and a AP4 which I only used to run a HM TT. So no shortage of race day shoe. I am undecided on AP3 or AP4 for race day thou. AP4 is imho is a bit too "fast" for my current confidence level and AP3 while does not feel as "super" is impeccable at holding on to target pace. Will decide nearer race day.

Share one neat trick I just did.

If you only bring a Garmin watch when you go running and bought a BCRS labeled drinks after your run, you can claim back your 10c by using your watch to hold your paylah qr code and let the machine scan it.

Go to the Garmin app store and download the app QRcode and then enter your paylah link.
