 bloody hell, so many people taking massage today, all the shops at City Square all either 1 or 2 hour wait time... Made my way over to Merlin Tower for the harder to find, foot only massage  45RM-60mins

Most at Merlin Tower is "body massage"
massage since border open is always hard to get spot unless non peak hour walk in. better to book in advance.

Hi all

Going into JB for a short 3D2N staycation during the weekdays. Any recommendation for seafood, Lok Lok, massage and KTV near KSL area?

TIA!

... SG's passport not stamped by MY's ICA Officers.

Looks like getting like a pandemic, spreading more.

A Singaporean woman, Haslinda Sham, and her family had a troubling encounter that could have gotten much worse during a trip to Malaysia, if not for some extra caution on her husband's part.

Her husband kept his ears peeled to listen out for the heavy drops of the immigration stamp each time a passport was being stamped.

Don't try to hear for the stampings... seeing is believing.

I appreciate the part on Mdm Haslinda saying "What can I do? It's their country. So I ended up apologising for their mistake. We were the ones who had to say sorry."

The responsibility is on the traveller to check for the stamps in situ and not after leaving the booth. It is well-worth the little delay in your journey so you avoid the situation of having to return to the booth and even apologise for anything, as you assume it is the officer's job to stamp your passport. Needless to examine if it is a lapse or the intent of the office in not stamping. Applicable for any country.

If you are standing at the counter, pay attention while the officer is stamping your passport.

Counter is set at a height one can't see the passport is being stamped. So better to eye ball the stamp after it has been returned.

Wah, so many cases now after reopening.

At least this case was spotted early instead of only discovering when exiting.

Even better, check before you leave the counter, particularly if you drive. For travellers leaving or entering the country on foot, since your passport is in full view all the time, make sure you witness the officer stamping on your passport before you walk away from the counter.

Please, people, the onus is upon yourself to check your own passport and those of your young kids and elderly people that you bring along.

The officers have to deal with hundreds upon thousands of passports during their shift, while we've only ONE job and that's to check ONE passport. Pay 100% attention to the officer when you're at the counter, stare at what he's doing if you've to.

For them to miss stamping some passports is not something new, not something in line with Covid, nothing to do with the pandemic. Unless you're just born during this pandemic, you should already know that you should check your passport, anywhere in the world.

Check. Your. Own. Passport.

Not new and has been cases reported from time to time. It is also weird that still got ppl take it for granted and do not check at the counter after their passport been stamped and returned to them.

IIRC preCovid was S$4 so about RM12ish deducted from the card.

Edit : S$5 was to Sutera Mall back then.
