Found this link :

Expire date6 months after last tap / top-up

It's not based only on last top up date, but also on last use/ tap, thus no need to top up every 6 months.
PreC19, it's simply 6-month validity after last use, with the credit balance intact. Just needed to top up to reactivate the card. If not used for a year, the card will be completely disabled and the credit balance gone.

i start off by sharing a scam i encountered when my friend and i drove up there last week.

on the return trip, we filled the tank at the caltex near the checkpoint. after filling up, a lady approached our car and knocked on our window, signaling for us to wind it down. having read about scams in jb, we wound down just a little.

she proclaimed to be 'agent' for the city square anniversary promo and required us to tear open a 'lucky draw coupon'. if there is a 'thank you', just sign on it to acknowledge and she would get a commission. my coupon was the 'thank you' version, i drew a tortoise on it for her to 'claim commission'. my friend got the 'winning' coupon. and the 'agent promptly produced a newspaper clipping to try to proof that the prizes exists. she went on to request(almost to begging) that we give her a ride to her agency to claim the prize, also mentioning that she'll get commission for that. of cos, we did not agree.. she went on to beg us to do so, stressing on the 'commission' she'll get.

my friend told her, "we're in a rush"
she replied(or beg), "please mister, i can get commission for this"

i told her off by saying, "since you said the prizes is so good, you can give it to others, i'm sure there will be people who will take it"
her face changed and say, "ok", and walked off

suspicions:
1. the coupon i got was observably opened before and sticked back
2. if she could get comm by me signing, then she could just sign on all the 'thank you' herself
3. city square lucky draw is entered by min. spending of RM50
4. she wanted a lift from us
5. she did not produced any identity card

If you are sinkies, still possible but every month clocking 20+ days may have problem with the custom officer when you go in by manual. Now with e-gate, you don't get the see them, unless the system spot you and ask you to go by manual.

Today cw4g bus driver is very nice. The bus without card reading machine, so everyone can just board the bus and pay later at checkpoint. He explains this again and again everytime passenger boards the bus. Then got this one lady with earpiece want to pay, he need to repeat until 3 times until she understand. At the last bus stop before the custom, he waited for the regular passenger crossing the busy road at least 2-3mins. CEO @Meemoosaa please give this man award 😆
You didn't get the name of the driver, how can the CEO identify him

Please take note, TnG recently has an app update (iOS) and they have intentionally changed the interface and hid the 1% fee to “encourage” users to top up using their Singapore issued cards.

Picture on the left is what you see, you need to click on the tiny word breakdown before you’ll be shown the fees. Previously everything was on one page without the need to click on breakdown. TnG management very smart, going forward, they can charge 10% fee covertly and unaware TnG users will only find out after the top up is done.

Revolut also same. Hide the 1% weekend fee from your push notification. I only discovered it months later

Pontian coffee is quite special. Light bodied but got certain unique floral aroma.
My usual kopitiam at gelang patah also sourced their coffee from pontian. They sell to many kopitiam in jb, different kopitiam different recipe/grade...
I think people who like their coffee gao, won't like these kind of coffee...
