Like that make me hesitant whether want to stay in big box. I may just chill and grab to other malls and back. I wonder whether that will be easily doable since I didn’t stay there before.

I stayed in Sunway (BB) Hotel once, and only 1 night.

As one who doesn't drive in JB but likes to go around, I'd say there's nothing much to explore back then. But then, now the other areas are open and much more established, can explore if you're willing to (walk ). Actually not very far, but maybe not as shady as you'd like...

Yes, will need to Grab to other places. Back then I Grabbed to Eco Bontani after I checked out. So between check-in and check-out, I only explored the immediate premises.

IMO Grab shouldn't be a problem from Sunway BB, just maybe have to wait a bit longer since it's away from the main activities. Now with those other nearby areas open, I'd think it should be easier/faster.

Very few ppl walking, streets are very clean and pleasant,

Reminds me of a quiet town in perth
I happen to like Sunway area very much,
but my parent found it like kumpung, as not much happening and very quiet

Walk abit towards uncle don's. I usually take my bus at that bus stop

No physical bus stop under the bridge. Driver may or may not stop. Better don't risk and just walk 3 mins to the physical bus stop with shelter

I am told there is a small mall with maybe 10-20 shops? I wonder whether there is a massage place? If have then perhaps just nua around. Also can grab to Aeon Bukit Indah. Or go Paradigm mall also like not very far

The whole place is Sunway Big Box Retail Park, with the hotel in there. All under one roof.

One can look at Sunway Iskandar as a viable self-contained township suitable for families to move in. I have not come across any massage chain that has set up shop. Sunway Big Box has everything a family needs for supplies and pastimes. For even more down-to-earth or old-school eateries and shops, Gelang Patah is a short drive or bus ride away.

Visited Citrine Hub on Sunday evening. Other than the cat cafe and Jaya Grocer, I assess the other businesses there to be unsustainable.
I must say Sunway is one of the finer developers. Their projects in the vicinity of Big Box appear to be fully sold and operating, including the Emerald Residences, X Park and GRID. There is a lively community with a well-maintained park, international school and shops. There appears to be many Koreans, at least from the number of Korean-themed eateries.
