In a nutshell, foreigners are only good for receiving money, not to give. It's the same with our open l policy, no? To spend, not to save. Or to invest, for want of a nicer word.

It's easier if you want to open in order to make it more convenient for you to spend. 💰

foreigners can open FD accounts IINW but got a certain limit.

FX risk is a mitigating factor when "investing" with foreign currencies.

in theory, foreigners cannot open bank account without supporting reason paperwork in any country.

CIMB and Maybank bypass the process by opening their corresponding overseas account internally.

now i just wish CIMB-TH also can open one from Sg... then go to Siam can pay like local
CIMB or Maybank...Which is easier to apply for spending in MY?

Thanks ! I know this kopitiam but seems to be always very chaotic and crowded whenever I passed by. How's the food there ? Maybe will try when I'm in kulai next.
should be alright. seldom eat there coz if i go that area always go for mok gao beef noodle, or heng heng chicken rice.

I love the beef noodles ! No chance to try the heng heng chicken as seems to be always closed whenever I'm there. Have you tried the siblings char kway teow in the area ? I may be going again this weekend ! haha !
