do you do your combined workouts twice a week or four times a week?

I'm thinking of starting 531 soon, but want to work it in a three day cycle. your method gave me an idea-combine ohp and deadlift day into one session with no accessories....

i can't find the link where I got my current routine from but you can try this.

The exception is the deadlifting day with presses as the second lift. Just do 5/3/1 here across the board.

Monday

Squat – 5/3/1 sets/reps
Bench – 55%x5, 65×5%, 75%x5
Assistance work

Wednesday

Deadlift – 5/3/1 sets/reps
Press – 5/3/1 sets/reps
Assistance work

Friday

Bench – 5/3/1 sets/reps
Squat – 55%x5, 65%x5, 75%x5
Assistance work

The program is set up the same way – taking 90% of your max and working up slowly. All percentages are based on that training max.

5/3/1 for a Beginner - JimWendler.com

going to give my body a rest this week. Just ended a judo match yesterday. Sprained finger and feel so flat now.

weight class. but it was held by growing MMA gym. Shogun Fight Gym in Woodlands 11.

I do Japanese Jiujitsu actually but I love the throwing component of Jiujitsu lately(very Judo-like). I would say it is minor competition with judo-like rules.

I managed a double leg takedown and one tai-otoshi. Still lost though.

Rules
1. Match ends if full ippon
2. Waza-ari/yuko - 2 points
3. Pin 10s - 1 points
4. Pin 20s - 2 points
5. Pin 25s - Match ends.
