Hi everyone, should I apply for my HLE now or wait until selection date is out?

I have applied for the HLE, when I applied for May BTO.
It is valid for only 3 months.

It is alright to apply for HLE now, if you wish to.
But upon expiry, you will need to reapply again.
If not, you can wait till ur selection date, where the officer can help you to apply for the HLE on that very day.

My queue is 5x.... i dont think it has to do with my queue number right?

Need some advice here.

Should I choose a unit with balcony? Went down to view the 3D models, it seem like unit with balcony make the room very small. But with the balcony make the whole unit look so st:s13:ylist. "condo -like". :s13:
Now I can't decide which to take. :s22:

I prefer high level... will be picking 617/619... the blocks infront will be only till 8 levels... so hope more ppl choose the units nearer to the waterway so I can choose high high... hee

haha good for you but do bear in mind 617/619 have afternoon sun so all your living room and rooms will be absorbing all the heat.

Mine will expire on 26th Sept.
I guess we have to wait till the HLE expires den reapply the same way. I will also have to reapply when the time comes.

And I heard that those who have not apply HLE before, can wait till selection day, can ask the officer to apply for you.

How many rm u applying? You still can go for those blocks behind 316B and 316C ma. get higher floor(About 13 floor at least) you still can get a gd view of the Waterway. your nbr consider very gd le : )
i am apply 4rm. Still is tough. Total units facing water way is abt 50 plus units for 4rm only.. base on my number, do not think will have a chance unless more that 50% dropout which is not the case

By God's grace, we couldnt have been granted a better queue number. This is our 2nd time applying and we do not have other additional chances except for one extra chance. Selection day is 30th Aug.
And yes, I agree with your suggestion of sharing ideas on how to renovate the unit when the time comes. 4 rm unit's layout is simply a put off.

My friends suggested checking online to see units selected and ethnic quota to calculate your chances on the units that are still available.

I won't recommend 119 and 121 if you can help it. You will be getting afternoon sun which heats up your unit and the heat is retained even at night. It gets worst when you are on a higher floor.

123 would've been a great choice if not for the site reserved for future development. Your view might be blocked next time. But we wouldnt know when and how tall.

The ethnic quota is finally out! I realised that most of the units in BLK 208A are priced higher than 208B even though both are on the same level. Could it be because 208A is nearer to the bus stop & eating house?

I don understand why #121 on 3rd & 4th storey are priced $8k more expensive than their neighbour #123? Can someone enlightens me? What disadvantages i could have overlooked for #123. Cos i thought #123 is better than #121 because of no afternoon sun??
