u guys applied clementi bto know whether the "2-storey future social community facility" is going to build and complete at the same time with the two blocks or HDB will construct it later? If it is later, which means residents have to endure the construction noises and dust after moving in?

Log on to My HDBPage. You will be able to see the last queue number each day, for the bto you applied for. I logged in this morning and it showed 038. Yesterday night it showed 035.

My thought is -119. The remaining -117 units are blocked by existing HDB. -121 & -123 units will most likely be blocked by future high rise developments, judging from their lower selling price.

Actually the plot of land reserved for future high rise development is larger than clementi gateway. Potentially can build 4-5 blocks. Don't really like 208B as view is likely to be blocked in future and construction noise. That's why majority of the applicants had chosen 208A so far.

121 and 119 will be facing the afternoon sun. The higher u go, the more heat retained. it's irksome because it's really hot even at night. U might want to consider that. we're not sure how high would the 'future developments' be or when they'd be built.

yes, my friend tell me if u take the afternoon sun unit, at night the room is very warm...take the morning sun better.

Yes, the uncertainty is tricky. But the pricing provides some clues; if -121 & -123 are not being blocked, they won't be priced lower. If you examine at the prices for level 17 & 18 in -119 & -117 units, you will realized they jump around $5k+ compared to the typical $1K+ per level. This is likely because level 17/18 will be above the existing HDB blocks and hence offering unblocked views. -121 & -123 units does not have such $5K+ jumps.

Having said that, I'm unable to figure out why (i) there is also a quantum jump for level 30, -117 & -119 units, and (ii) there is no price differentation for afternoon sun (same price for -117 and -119).

at first, i really want to choose 208A, but is too near to 206...beside there has a kopi shop..maybe have some noise during at night if they open 24hours...208B is by itself ...i took the 3rm , so infront and behind still can see many nice view..and alot of wind ah...
