Konansou's public bath is very nice. There's one section where the water is fresh from the ground so its a warmer section.

Guys any comments on these ryokans? Shuhokaku kogetsu seems to have fujisan views in all rooms and is cheaper than ubuya. Or should I just go ubuya? Private bath not so important for me.

I'm renting a car for 2 days 2 nights at Lake Kawaguichi. After looking at the bus arrival times of the sightseeing omni buses, I felt that I can see more sites within the area, rather than spending time waiting at the bus stop.

When did you visit Kawaguchi?

I am visiting in Mar and the weather forecast indicate -2 to 8 degree.
Intend to rent a car to go safari and tour around due to crowded bus and long waiting time. I am also traveling with my child, so a car is better.

But i am worry it will snow. haha.

Any advise?

The rental car over there comes with snow tyre so not an issue.

Can stay 2 nights there then go Hakone.

Will want to rent a car from narita then to lake kawaguchi for 1 night then head to hakone.
