5", hmm... I guess if it's comparable with iPhone 5 reading space, then, well, it might not be so good for people who needs bigger fonts for reading.

The price I think would also plays a part in consideration.

saw it on display in Japan. Still usable, still readable, but I don't see any reason to get it, since it's not much smaller than the glo or touch.

It's really for a niche group who might need an as-small-as-possible e reader for whatever niche reason they might have... maybe for ladies to fit into their dinner purses.

how much you paid for that?

Im using my Kobo mini for 2 weeks now. loving it. Small, light, super portable, and great battery life. :s12:
One bad thing happened thou. :( the battery inside started rattling. I googled and seems like it happens to Kobo Glo sets too.
I opened up the set and reapplied some double sided tape and now it still working well :o

5" is like the Samsung note.
If dn't mind small fonts or big fonts less words per Page. I guess to some the 5" screen is still doable.

The eBay seller really taking his own sweet time in uk. Till now still not send. No reply from him too. Can get money back from eBay?

Anyway, do u think white or black is better?

White ships with a silver back, more to my liking. Plus doesn't look like normal Kindles, more unique. So I choose white. But to each their own.

Can, after 45 or 60 days can file a dispute with eBay. I forgot lol.. Days of buying from eBay are over, read too many horror stories of eBay sellers & buyers.

That's good. I got a extra set coming next week. White. Order it on impulse..

Used the black kobo mini for a few days

Pro
WiFi
Long battery life(without wifi)
Light weight
Kobo os is ok. No learning curve. Str 4ward.
Add fonts to mini with minimal hassle. Able to read Vietnamese ebooks. Chinese ebooks. Myanmar ebooks etc etc.
Support most ebook format. Just drag and drop using pc.
No ads

Cons
No back light.
Dated e ink.
2gb memory.(expendable thru DIY)

The pocketable size mini makes reading easy. On the go. Mobility make reading more frequent and easy. Waiting for bus, start reading. Waiting for food to arrive, start reading. Waiting to fetch your child, start reading. Etc etc. you will be surprise how fast u can finish a book.

I am still testing what is the best way to hold the kobo mini. Somehow 5inch square design need to find the best holding position and ways to flip the page.
