sskiek at chinatown

Their Chinatown branch is very decent, I would say it's probably the best and most popular out of all their branches.

Difference lies in the ventilation and service, in my opinion. The Chinatown branch has decent ventilation, compared to the Novena branch where my shirt stank from that greasy BBQ smell, it's way less pronounced at the Chinatown branch, the air-conditioner is cooler as well.

Service at Novena and Tampines was quite bad, you have to ask multiple times to get them to change the foil, in Chinatown they automatically change it every 30 to 45 minutes, if I remember correctly. Didn't even have to ask once.

For the price, it's decent enough. Meat is marinated well. One of the better Korean BBQ joints out there in their price range.

Been to both the Novena and chinatown branch. Personally feel that the chinatown branch is much better. Went back a couple of times. Reservation might be a really good idea for dinner timing or when having large amount of pax. Great selection of meat as compared to the branch at Novena.

Unless they are coming to stay here for longer, why bother with Korean BBQ here. It's miles better back there.

Bring them to try local food.

Try tiong bahru plaza sejong Korean restaurant BBQ buffet.

I think is $25.90 or $28.90 nett with drinks.

their meats are well-marinated.
Spread not that many. But decent selections lah for such pricing.
Value for money! N yummy!

I ate at 2D1N its pretty good. Kim's family restaurant at Bukit Timah area also not bad, though its not really a buffet. But i like the beef.

Tried Bornga at vivocity last week.

Service was bad. Wanted to take orders but two of them just turned away flustered without saying a word. I saw they went to get another person. Probably new or something.

They also have this rule where each pax must order 1 ala carte meat if having bbq. Each is about 25 bucks. The portion is too big to be finished by most ladies. Quite a insensitive rule.

Food was normal. Will not go back again.

sskeik at united square really good with pork, chicken and beef. Lettuce also very fresh. Still got a variety of cooked food. Remember to make reservation or you will need to join the long queue.

I would suggest u go to city square JB to try the Bornga. Price is cheaper by half compare to spore (probably due to the currency exchange) , and service not bad. the rule at JB is min 2 meat to BBQ, if i not wrong.
