The one at basement of City Square cannot considered as supermarket, more like a mini-mart stall.

How to walk from City Square to Kotaraya? which direction? and how long is the walk? TIA

at City Square, to to level 2 look for Wong Ah Fook exit. Leading that way, you find Mary Brown chicken and some other eateries there. I think Macdonald level 2 is facing Kotoraya too. I used to eat at that store which sell curry noodle with fried stuff. Get out of the building that leads you to a overhead bridge. Walk over to other side of the road, just short distance away from bridge on your right, there is a walkway leading up slope just beside Public Bank. Kotaraya is situated on the road just behind this building. You won't miss it as the building is pink in color. nothing to cheers as the place is rather small. A&W used to be located here long ago..... I only go there to buy grocery from UO and possibly some female stuff at either Guardian or Watson (kotaraya), Watson (CS) and Guardian just after the bridge depending on which stores has promotion or stock. I used to visit 4 such stores along the way.

some bkt stores doesnt open on Monday, as no fresh pork selling in market on Monday.

Generally bkt stores should open from 8am onwards, some even earlier.

Terbrau more things to see. Got Jusco and Popular bookshop. I find it nicer to shop. Tesco is next door only. More or less same as Bukit Indah.

Only bad thing is it is much further than KSL and the roads leading to Terbrau always heavy traffic

I think the Jusco is bigger than Bt Indah... But Bt Indah has Giant as well.

KSL is my new favourite place in JB now. I like the fact that it has plenty of shops selling DVDs alongside with the normal retail mall, makes it a easy day trip for everyone in the family.

I normally complement it with a side-trip to either Tebarau City / Giant @ Plentong before returning home, and thats because the Tesco, like so many has said, is utterly useless, unless of cause, when I'm really tired and is lazy to drive...

Overall, cinema tix is still much cheaper than SG. I always watch movie in JB.

Had the bak kut teh opposite KSL today. Overall quite nice! Can try. Plus windy weather, maybe the reason why the soup not really hot after awhile.
