From what I've read, they've designated smoking area/s but NOT including rooms.

I always make sure to put "non-smoking floor" whenever I make my bookings, regardless if they say it's completely a non-smoking zone. Won't hesitate to make a complaint if I smell smoke either from my room or along the corridor. So far so good.

With a pair jammed to the locked door, I feel can only open if they use those tools that our SCDF have... If room occupants and neighboring rooms don't do anything until that stage... unless only room occupied on the whole floor...

I was actually thinking what if there's a fire and rescue workers are trying to save the occupants. Would the door stoppers delay the process?

buy those door stoppers with alarm sounds..
it will alert u when someone tried to force open the door + scare them away
