Basically it spans about 1.5km.

There are a wide variety of stalls selling from fresh seafood (yes, raw fish) to clothings (pyjamas, etc).

You will definitely love the cheap food, and the portion that they serve.

Not forgetting, you get to see many eye-candies as they are out to buy the street food too

I googled and found 2 BKT joints over there? One nearer than the other, from Pelangi Plaza?

same brand but seem like diff location, they have quite a handful of store if not wrong.
the one i went is this

https://www.google.com.sg/maps/plac...?sa=X&ei=VkSCVfOtIM3v8gWqoIAg&ved=0CH8Q_BIwCw

if you guys say nice, my comment is, from tender meat to more hard meat with bone for bkt
the chicken, more bone and less meat too

time lapse from acceptable to bad, within the last 1 year.
find chicken is a waste of money for sure with bone n less meat.

The pasar malam is like a market for the residents around there too, so watch out for trolleys. Also watch out for beggars lying on the middle of the walkway...

There's a hawker center near the other end of the pasar malam (Cedar Point Food Court) on the left, just behind the Hotel Grand Paragon. Can go take a break there. :D

Pardon me, but I've been trying to figure out where this Taman Garden is.

Is it Taman Sri Tebrau Hawker Center, by any chance? :D

Okay its actually near THE STORE also.

Now visualise this "1-" . The 1 is the stretch of shophouses where you find the BKT. the - is the right turn into a single lane road where you will find a wet market. Yes just go further up, about 1 min by cab, you will see the taman garden where it is a big hawker where there are numerous stalls selling seafood zi char

Restaurant name: Yoong Lei Dim Sum 古来云来点心
Address: Jalan Mutiara Emas 9/3, Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru

Anybody with knowledge of bus that will bring us there from JB SENTRAL?

Use any bus that takes you to Jusco Tebrau City.

I think you have to take taxi from Tebrau. Bus can be taken from JB sentral then alight at Aenon tebrau (bus stop along the expressway).

I read that somewhere near Tebrau also got one very nice wanton mee.
