Berjaya times sqaure is a shopping complex by it self...
Neraby there is Bukit Bintang Area..with Sg. Wang Plaza (budget shopping) with Parkson, Lot 10 (Isetan), Pavillion (Parkson Premier)...etc...

A basic room per night in a 5 star hotel, including taxes, start from RM350+ onwards. (S$150+)

The above is for online bookings. Not sure about tour packages.

I am sure not everyone is willing to spend that amount of money. Heh.

which ones would you recommend?
Esp weekend rate is cheaper becaz most ppl who go KL r on biz...

Recently book, Ritz Carlton at RM399++ include breakfast... Sheraton got pay 2 nite get 1 nite free... but no breakfast... Hilton is abt RM400-500... their breakfast is damp solid...

5 star hotels are easily US$200 and above anywhere else...

Forget about KL Plaza.. where did you get this place from? Unless there is major changes, there is virtually nothing there now I believe. Was there in Dec, only few shops and few offices are open. The rest, all shifted out.

Petaling street is closest to your hotel.. your list of places to go, except for 8 which I do not know, all can be reached by LRT.
Walking to Times Square ~15min nad from TS to Sungei Wang another 10min. Of course, if you can walk very fast like me, it will only takes less than half that time. KLCC & Twin tower are at the same location

I suggest you do some searching online, most information is available online.

Shopping wise, Mid Valley also not bad. Not to forget Batu Caves. KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers are the same place.

Batu Cave is an Indian temple. Its 13km North of KL, so taxi fare would be RM20? I'm not sure or insist go by meter. Take bus also can. The cave is located quite high need to climb around 297 steps. 1-2 hours is enough.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batu_Caves

so u mean i need ard 2 hrs to go there from KL, walk walk see see, and come back to KL? all in 2hrs? mmm ok.. will consider.. anymore other sightseeing places? worth visiting? and also where can i buy local snacks back to sg?
