You been there for the food? I will be in KL in Dec. I watched a short clip of it on TV about Ah Ben and his travel.. ..something like that by accident. Part of this and that about the famous food in Lot 10, so not sure what he was talking about as I merely watch ~2min. Can share more light?

fireantz,
You can forget about KL Plaza, there isn't much there now. is it still closed for retrofitting and renovation. Official opening is 8 Aug (I think). Hope they will eventually be open by then... check out the website page below for latest update.

Are you a fan of Uniqlo? There will be 3 stories shop there as I read from MY local press. H&M had withdraw from Malaysians input. I too am waiting cause 2 yrs ago when I was there... I was all so errie... stupid renovation with most shops closed and then.. worse case, lift broke down. ALl had to make use of carpark lift, quiet, dark and looked deserted.. leaving many residents and tourists who had booked the appartment complaining..

in Lot10 food court, pl avoid Chendol. Terrible.
:(

Jin Lian Fried Hokkien Mee very nice but u need to have the patience to wait for it to be fried by conventional charcoal stove and also for the long queue. Best to eat before the lunch hour , after 12pm the wait is even longer. =:p

Can also try the porridge and the beef noodles there.:D

Egg tarts there not recommended, very common.

Comments

Shopping + Food
Low Yat Shopping Centre
No so fun because i have not intention to buy electronic.

Lot 10.
Nothing much to shop to be honest.
I saw A&W on my way there so i skipped the food court

Times Square
Bring more cash. Female clothes is cheap. RM25 per item.
Tried the krusty kreme donut... not bad but kinda expensive. 2 donut + 1 drink RM12.60.
Had Wendy's. The 2 piece spicy chicken is nice.

BB Park
Went Bar & Bistro - only place we found near our hotel that serve beer + shisha (other location only server shisha but no beer). Quite expensive. Shisha for RM35, 1 Jug of Carsberg for RM 56(exclude tax)

Massage
Pampered for choices... On average foot massage for 30mins cost RM25

the fastest way is by plane, you save about 1 hour if you factor in airport check-in, waiting of flight, and you need to be at airport early. from KL Airport you have to factor in the journey you take to your hotel, while the bus will stop at the bus and i think you get a lrt at the top.

Thank you for sharing your experiences in KL, i would like to ask about the safety and crime, where you approach by any touts? what kind of precaution you took to avoid being a possible victim. Were you almost a victim of pickpocketing or push pocketing? and if given a choice, would you choose to buy the bus tix in larkin or in singapore? Thank you in advance.
