If you have a car, Damansara Uptown Hawker Centre in Petaling Jaya has really nice food. Love the Tandoori Chicken and Garlic Butter Naan there!

depending on your budget. The normal ticket price from Sg to KL is $30 (Starmart Express, Golden Coach Express, Sri Maju Express), First Coach Express, with 27seaters. If you have higher budget, you can go for coaches like Transtar,Konsortium, Five Stars which offer a wider seats like 18 seater with in-bus entertainment.

any recommendation on the hotels? I can't decide whether to be at Chinatown or Bukit Bintang

by lrt you mean the monorail?
the monorail is quite convinient. it runs at regular timing, maybe around 6 mins interval between each train. for price wise, it cost about 1 rm to about 3 rm for a lrt ride. it can bring u to major shopping district like times square, and also ard bukit bintang area with few more small malls and shop houses...

Here's a self-help tip. Go to Google Maps. Input "bukit bintang plaza to jalan petaling flea market". Click on the walking man symbol. Note the landmarks along the route marked out for you.
