any adv to take airplane to KL?
I do that quite often for work. Land at KLIA (it's like taking MRT from Jurong to Pasir Ris very fast), take the express train into Sentral. Comfortable and no jam. Depends on where you stay, can continue with LRT/MRT/Grab from Sentral.
If you're in a big group (2 or more pax), it will be cheaper to book Grab into the city as the express train is not that cheap.

Alternatively, you can fly Firefly from Seletar which lands at the airport nearer to town and you don't need to arrive so early because Seletar is a much smaller airport than Changi.

time wise coach also shorter? nope? only comfort wins. i think

It is an easy choice for me to choose flight via Seletar Airport. I booked my ticket few months in advance and it costs between $100 to $130 SGD for return trip. The flight only takes 1 hour 20 mins and I do not need to arrive very early to check in. At Seletar Airport, the check in counter is about 30 metres away from passport scanning and another 20 metres away from boarding gate. It is another 40 metres away from boarding the aircraft. Grab from Subang airport to KL Sentral is about 30 mins to 45 mins. So convenient and value for money. If you stay near Changi Airport then it's better to fly via Changi.

Do you agree that FireFlyz always costs more than any other flight option to KL? As much as I like turboprops, Seletar and Subang, the ticket alone costs more.

I have only flown via Firefly to KL as Seletar is nearer to where I stay, thus, unable to comment on Changi flights. The price range between $100 to $130 is a reasonable range for myself. My upcoming August 2025 trip costs $124. Of course I am more than happy to see competitors against Firefly so that consumers like us can enjoy better rates.

Maybe, you've to factor in Grab from your house to Changi (vs Seletar) and when you're back in SG, transport from KLIA/Subang to your hotel.
For a $100 return flight, the Grab from home to Changi is already $30 each way. That's a more significant cost that I pay attention to.

I want to compare just the cost of the flight by itself, as I happen to live equidistant to our 2 airports. My observation is that Fireflyz from Seletar generally costs more than any of the options from Changi, hence my question.

In any case, how did turboprops get a reputation in this forum for being flying coffins?
