TRX is wide, spacious and expensive. same "category" as KLCC but lesser people
Pavilion too many weirdos and dont seem to feel safe / pickpockets etc

for a well-balanced shopping (excluding buying luxuries), try Mid Valley, 1 Utama or IOI City Mall

KLIA Ekspres, Transit fares up from Jan 1

KUALA LUMPUR: Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) has announced fare adjustments for its KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services, with the standard one-way adult fare between KL Sentral and KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 increasing to RM65 from RM55, effective Jan 1 next year.

I usually take the express bus between KLIA and KL Sentral. 15 RM by bus. 1 hour if traffic permits and I have time on my hands. There are other combinations of bus, LRT/MRT and KLIA Transit that are cheaper and gets you to your final destination instead of KL Sentral. I also look up the KLIA Ekspres site for discounts which are available from time to time.

from klia even if grab also need at least 30min and up... so 1 hr by bus is not too bad....

TRX reminds me of Suntec mixed with MBS. KLCC mainly for the twin tower shots.

Pavillion gave me headache and anxiety. The crowd is so damn scary and the jam... omg. Waste of time going there. I didn't see too many weirdos but then I did not venture much outside of the mall during my time there lah. KL overall is just too hectic but I might have gone to the all the wrong places. haha

I think my only most memorable place is walking around Kampong Bahru streets where it was so surreal looking over the traditional Malay village housing with coconut trees ,and low rise housing against the backdrop of twin tower. It's a conserved area but you get all the high rise shiny malls in the background and around it, quite an unusual sight.

TRX is more like Jewel though not quite close, it houses Msia first and only Apple store and also link directly to MRT station~

KLCC is older, the food court has wider selection of food stalls, we also watched a movie there~ the highlight is of course the twin towers~

Pavilion highlight is outside the street, Bukit Bintang is bustling, won't loose out to Orchard Rd~ :s22:
