It IS my money lah. I use it to pay mortgage.
If not my money, I cannot use it to pay for anything.
A bit like Schrödinger's cat

Won't be surprised if maybe next time deceased member bequeathed funds can only transfer to NOK CPF and cannot be withdrawn anymore

Incorrect. Assuming you have $2m to withdraw, you can do so in person at CPF. As mentioned in the article, you can get an appointment within a week and the money will be disbursed within 5 working days.Need 40 days to withdraw fully if I got $2million
You really care for BBFA.![]()
Sort of, but at least we can use to pay for mortgage.
Just that most likely, it will be other people who will get to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Stinky move... If really like that they ish can increase their investment pool...![]()
Never say never.
Not realised until eventually withdrawn, otherwise just paper only. But as you said, at least the possibility is there.
Actually more beneficial for cashflow since the money won't exit the system.
Online bro, You wanna withdraw all one shot, do it offline.Need 40 days to withdraw fully if I got $2million
Wait till retirement age officially 65. I believe after that, withdrawal age will increase in lockstep with any retirement age increase (retirement age - 10). So if retirement age increase to 66, withdrawal age will increase to 56.I only worry that they keep increasing the withdrawal age until I really cannot see it.
But for now, can pay mortgage, I happy already.
Wait till retirement age officially 65. I believe after that, withdrawal age will increase in lockstep with any retirement age increase (retirement age - 10). Retirement age target of 65 should be reached by 2030.
We'll see what happens after that goal is reached.
What an analysis LOLThere are big differences.
Last time, Singaporeans withdraw all their CPF at 55 or 65, then within one year got cheated by women or scammer and lost their life CPF savings of few hundred thousands.
Now, Singaporeans can only withdraw $2000-$3000 a month from 65 onwards. So, the women can only stay with him and cheat $2000-$3000 every month the max. So, the women scammer have to stay with the men for long term to cheat more money and the men get to enjoy their companionship.
Many edmwers wanted to remain singles. They really should thank CPF life. It's a life saver.![]()
Then plan for and withdraw earlier loh.Maybe kid needs to pay university fees.
Maybe people want to buy car?
Like that in future want to help my kid out down payment also need 2wweks to withdraw out daily lol…
