Hi all, i just bought a new ACER laptop from the CEE show from Challenger on Sunday.
However, i found that the laptop battery indicator of the battery is very inaccurate.
Illustration.
The battery is showing 100% when it is fully charged.
after using some time , eg. battery drop to 64% displaying 3 hours left
then after some time 54% 5 hours left. (should be lesser.)
The percentage left and the estimated no of hour and minutes left is not consistent.
I have already tried re calibrating the battery by discharging it to 3% and recharging it to the full capacity 100%. This was performed twice, using the Laptop utility software provided.
I have also deleted and reinstalled the windows battery drivers. Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery Driver.
Please advise if this is a defective laptop?
Am i able to do an exchange with the shop?
This is so frustrating... any experts kindly help pleaseee....
