yeah, but i feel that i dont need a 4 cores 8 threads though...

Most people need i7. A fast processor, RAM and SSD are very important when going online. I am using HP 15-bc010Tx. I think HP 15-bc222Tx is suitable for most people.

List down what are your priorities for the notebook...

It cannot be cheaper, better and faster...

Some compromises need to be made.

oh, thats not what i meant. i dont mind getting a gaming laptop, just thought i'd find one balanced spec laptop...

perhaps im looking for a laptop with I5(4 cores 4 threads) model, 500GB SSD, and 8GB ram.

otherwise, im fine with those 7th gen I7 laptop...

i see, how much did u get it for?

a NUC setup can just connect to a monitor/tv right? what about OS, does it comes with it or we have to purchase our own?
Extra $150 for windows 10. Yes you would need to connect it via hdmi cable to a monitor or tv, plus provide your own keyboard and mouse. Since you seem to be replacing your pc, can consider the nuc too

Sent from Samsung SM-G570Y using GAGT

a quick check on the price list, cybermind listed the NUC7I7BNH for $888, then add in $150 for windows 10, so final price would be $1038...?

Need to check whether it a barebone set. If it is still need to include storage ram etc.

Any recommendations for 15" laptop with extra numeric 10 keys at the right side of keyboard? Needed 2 sets for data entry only. Budget to be less than $800 per set. Cheapest possible.
