List down what are your priorities for the notebook...
It cannot be cheaper, better and faster...
Some compromises need to be made.

Extra $150 for windows 10. Yes you would need to connect it via hdmi cable to a monitor or tv, plus provide your own keyboard and mouse. Since you seem to be replacing your pc, can consider the nuc tooi see, how much did u get it for?
a NUC setup can just connect to a monitor/tv right? what about OS, does it comes with it or we have to purchase our own?

a quick check on the price list, cybermind listed the NUC7I7BNH for $888, then add in $150 for windows 10, so final price would be $1038...?
Need to check whether it a barebone set. If it is still need to include storage ram etc.
You need to add in RAM and SSD yourself. Whole set will likely come up to about $1.2,1.3k depending on your desired specsa quick check on the price list, cybermind listed the NUC7I7BNH for $888, then add in $150 for windows 10, so final price would be $1038...?
