How do you feel? Your get 20/20? Can you see clearly? I'm one week LASIK, can see but I still feel a bit blurry, not as sharp as I wear specs.

Sadly no 20/20. Might need to do enhancement bah for me.

Same actually but give it few more weeks and monitor see got improvement anot. Should gradually improve over time.

Just got ICL done @ EEC 2 days ago.
Vision is very clear right now: prescription before was -5.0 & -4.5.
Side effects = as highlighted in the above posts, dry eyes, halos & feeling of blurness sometimes due to the dryness! Got to keep putting eyes drops in.
Originally wanted to get Relex SMILE Or Bladeless Lasik but results from the assessments concluded my right cornea wasn’t suitable for it.
Posted my journey on my IG page (mr.beeny). Not sure if allowed but I don’t always check this forum and know there will be a lot of questions about the procedure because I was also in the same situation, so can reach me via there!
Thanks!

Hello, sharing my experience on ICL with Dr Lynn Yeo at EEC yesterday.

.........

Going for a checkup with Dr Yeo later. Total procedure cost is estimated to be about 9.5k (1 toric and 1 non-toric lenses).

Hope this helps. To me, I love the absence of downtime.

Hi, how much is your degree and astig? And how long does it take for your eyesight to stablise so that you can go back to work? I have 1 eye astig and 1 eye without, and was quoted a much higher price at another clinic.

Does insurance cover?

Not sure about insurance. I also had one toric and non-toric lens, one side was about 550 degrees and the other was 275 degrees and 150 degrees astig. My surgery was late afternoon, that night vision was hazy, the next morning vision was perfect, could have started work then, but I rested that day and started work the next day. I could go out though, but didn't drive just in case.

Hi, thank you for your prompt answer. Glad to know that downtime is short. May I know if your natural/original lens removed as part of the process?

I have an appointment this Friday to undergo ilasik surgery, but I am Still contemplating whether I should go or give myself a bit more time to adapt to prescription glasses.

Do any of you regret getting lasik done? My main concern is dry eye and side effect after lasik as my job requires to work on computer long hours. The reason that I am considering lasik now is I can't see the computer screen clearly due to astigmatism, but if there is any complications after lasik, there goes my career. May be I am over thinking

astig from lasik

i did my Epilasik 4 months ago with Dr Theng at EEC. Currently my astigma is quite bad at 150deg in both eyes. Doctor has advised me to wait out for another 4 months before deciding if a revision surgery would be appropriate.

I didn't have astigma (or it was negligible) previously. The reason for lasik was to correct my myopia. According to the doctor, my cornea probably didn't heal evenly causing the astigma.

Now it seems like i cured one problem (myopia) and got another (astigma)?

Anyone encountered this? if yes, did you eventually recover fully?

may I also ask how was your recovery time and when were you able to really see clearly again, like no blurry vision or light sensitivity? I'll be undergoing Epi-Lasik soon, also for myopia, but at Camden Med with Dr Seah. So I'm just reading through tips and experiences so i know how else to prepare.

I could see clearly by third day. no light sensitivity and blurry vision. It was a smooth recovery, other than the fact that i got astigmatism from the surgery. only the boredom was painful.

Hey! So sorry for missing the question.

I was reading ICL reviews and saw some ppl complain about lines of light caused by iridotomies. Dr Yeo explained that the new lenses have a central hold and iridotomies are no longer necessary; also, she has hardly done iridotomies for ICL cases. She also assured that if I am worried about side effects, the side effects of ICL will be far less pronounced than Lasik.

Vision was better than 6/6 the day following surgery. Only side effects I have so far (1 week on) are halos (like lens flare in photographs on sunny days) and occasionally foreign body sensation (feels like there's an eyelash in the eye but it's actually due to dryness) maybe 3-4 times since surgery.

How long have u had surgery?
Any issues now?

Anybody has any recommendations on which clinic to do ReLEx SMILE or which doctor? Searched through the thread but realize there aren't many reviews for the different clinics in Singapore
