Hi, I'm currently considering Natasha Lim or Julien for my LASIK. Can anyone share about the cost and which type of LASIK was done? Would like to get the referral codes too 😁😁😁 TIA!

Hello!! I read through the entire forum and you seem very informative! Unable to PM you bcos I just created this account (Considering going for TransPrK with clearvision in Oct 2022).

Wanted to ask you for more info on TransPrK based on your field experience - does it really have less side effects than Lasik? Why is the recovery period so long and slow as compared to lasik and if long term wise do people really stay with perfect vision or at least vision without glassess?

If going to dr natasha quote LVBoi ( aka Alex) to get referral discount of $200 off treatment and full consult @ $75 instead of $150 usually. With a saving there and also referral code for Eagle savings, u should consult both doctors to double check your safety/ options as well as the key factor of which one you feel most comfortable with answering yours questions and treating you. I heard Julian T has a long wait list to see him and Dr Natasha can have long waiting time in clinic too, as they are both very busy. Good luck.

Hi, it is usual for one to still have questions even after scouring the internet and this thread. Afterall, it is a permanent surgery done to your eyes. I am sure you have seen on the clearvision website that transPRK indeed has lesser side effects/complications. Minimally invasive surgeries usually have lesser complications as less structures of the eyes are touched. Recovery is slower as they 'burn' the cells directly, hence needing a longer time to recover.
Long term wise, depending on individual. All doctors will add a disclaimer stating regression might occur, meaning some form of degree will return. Or if the surgery goes astray, they wont be held responsible. Although it hardly happens, there is a slight chance it might. Hope this helps! Have a good week ahead.

Thanks for the advice! I personally feel that TransPRK are better than Lasik , but I still see many ppl going for Lasik instead, which is quite scaryy
